carlton shirkey I guess the best way I could explain it would be latin mexican inspire. It was our first time in the food was very good. The atmosphere was great service was excellent. Im still not sure what we had but I know it was good. Had a nice bottle of wine to go with. It was an enjoyable evening. I would recommend it, especially if youre in the mood for something a little different.

Emiko Kawashima Picked this establishment as outside patio was available for our canine. Ordered our food and comfortably waited as the patio is well shaded. The combination of beans, sausage and hollandaise sauce was pretty good! I would like to try other items on the menu when I am back in SLO. There is a large parking area near the restaurant.

Sofia D Warm and cozy atmosphere. The Fig & Goat burger was 10/10. Highly recommend the specialty drink Mama Sheep if you like grapefruit and the mac and cheese as well.

Gordon M. First and foremost, the food is really good... The queda birria was juicy, rich, fatty, cheesy, and seasoned heavily even without the delicious side of consume. It was a hearty portion even for a giant like me and the house made pickled veg is another nice touch. The rice and beans are delicious as well, rich, soft, and probably some good fat in the refried beans. The drink selection is nice too with beer, wine, and my choice, horchata, which I filled with the fountain after it was gone (try the leftover horchata with some diet coke, so good). The place was busy, friendly, and well ran with music that matches the energetic vibe but was maybe a touch too loud for someone trying to chat (I was not). Im often torn on how to reflect pricing in reviews. The bottom line is Taqueria El Guero is at the top most end of Taqueria prices youll encounter in the entire area, and while the food was good, there are many places as good across the central coast. I see the prices up front, theyre right there, and I can either accept or balk, so I tend not to really let it impact the score unless I feel gouged. Only on the side of rice and beans did I get close to feeling gouged due to their small portion, however with some consume poured on them I didnt mind their $6 little dish. Ill probably be back for more quesa birria, and that warrants 5 stars for making some dang good food.

Andrew Kao I love this place! Every time we visit the Central Coast, we make sure to stop in. Their pane is excellent, especially with a side of marinara for dipping, and the pizzas are amazing. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Benjamin Tan Located in the same plaza as scout coffee and rite aid. Milestone Tavern is a nice sit down bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have happy hours from 4-6pm everyday and trivia night from 8-10pm on tuesdays. Lots of variety of beers, cocktails, and ciders. We came for their happy hour where beers were $1-2 off depending on your size. Good vibes, great chillout spot, and lots of ample seating around. Servers are nice and attentive as well!

Tim Farrell Everytime we go to Humble Oven we have an awesome experience. The kids love the pizza and we tried the Smash Burger Za at the Farmers Market and it became one of our new favorites! My wife and I love the Humble Salad so much that we replicate the salad at home. Staff is on top of it and we make it our go to whenever we can. This place is a gem and highly recommend it to others.

Mai Finally, a local place for great quesadilla, burrito, build your own bowl with plenty parkings - close to California market. They have the same proteins as Chipotle, with four different kinds of delicious sauces. We ordered the quesadilla, and it was huge, tasty, crunchy, and served in a nice recycled box. Very reasonable price. The service is very fast with happy, friendly staff. There are plenty of sitting areas with large windows and high ceilings. Great job, press! Definitely recommend.

Madi Q Delicious food and great beer selection. Sat out on the covered outdoor patio and it was perfect! We came during live music and it was a really chill vibe. Added plus the team here is super nice! The owner even came over to introduce himself which was really cool. Side note, theres also a good amount of parking which is great for SLO.

Napoleon Navarro The ribeye breakfast was a very filling and tasty breakfast special. The sunny-side up eggs were cooked well. The hash browns were very crunchy. I added a side of sausage links because I love having sausage with my breakfast. The steak was cooked well and had the perfect bite to it.

Scott Hancher My wife and I were looking for a quick, nutritious bite on driving through SLO. I wasn’t optimistic that an Italian Restaurant would fit the bill, but this quaint sized DDD business served some very tasty salads, and we couldn’t refuse trying their tasty meatballs as a side.
