Chris Medlock We visit friends in Franklin NC every year and took a trip down to Clayton as we were visiting waterfalls. The Clayton Cafe is a great place to stop in for a quick bite. All of our food was amazing but I was blown away by the fried chicken sandwich. Hot, crispy, juicy, tender, well seasoned, and LARGE! Definitely one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Come with a big appetite or enjoy your leftovers later. The staff was great and took great care of us. The restaurant as a whole was just outstanding and we will make this a yearly stop. Thank you Clayton Cafe!!!!

Bill Grubb Excellent Brussels and Wedge salad. We stopped in on the way home and were super happy with the food and service, the decor is a little plain. We will definitely come back and have the chicken based on all the reactions around us.

Edward Rone The Clayton Arby’s is well managed and shows that is run by someone who pays attention to details. This Arby’s was especially clean compared to what you see at most fast food restaurant.

Julie Barba Been here a few times for lunch as it was recommended as best Mexican in town. I would call it more Tex-mex but really good food. Always consistent and great service. Had the enchiladas and husband had the molcajete

B First time visit.. seems like a lot of locals come here as it seemed everyone knows everyone here. When you walk in, you sit yourself. The inside is a bit dated but functional. Drinks come in styrofoam. The menu is one sheet, front and back. Mostly pork as the name of the restaurant suggests All interaction with staff was pleasant. The food was good too. One of the guys who busses tables was so fast and amazing . I wish the rest of America worked at speeds like his. Military gets a free drink with order here. (I got water instead, but know for next time. You pay at the cash register by the door. Id come back to this restaurant when in the area again. I recommend it.

Mar Pepin We ordered on the app, and it was pretty simple. I ordered the Checker’s Meal Deal, which comes with a Checkerburger, fries, an 8-piece chicken bites, and a drink. I also ordered a 4-piece side of fry-seasoned monsterella stix because I was interested in trying them. There are two drive-throughs, and one was marked for mobile orders only, so we went to that one. We pulled up to the window and informed the worker that we had an order through the app, and it took them a while to find it. It took about 5 minutes for the food to come out, but I did not mind that at all. The food felt hot and fresh. The worker was really nice after the confusion of the mobile order was cleared up. There were no issues with my order, also. The food was good, and I thought that prices were very reasonable. I would definitely come back to this location again.

Keith Amazing Mexican food! Fish tacos, chips and salsa, were delicious! Generous portions and fair price. Service was very courteous and attentive. Atmosphere is nice too. Highly recommend.

Brittany Allison Great food and even better service! Our party of 5 was seated quickly on a Saturday night. Every server was super nice! I got the shrimp Latin bowl and it was so good. We love Cuban food and this is a new favorite when we’re in town visiting family. The ingredients tased so fresh!

Davidd I had an excellent experience here. I ordered the Bulldog Roll, which was incredibly well-prepared with fresh ingredients and great flavor. The crab rangoon was also impressive—the wontons were perfectly crisp, and the filling was rich and delicious. I also tried the yellowfin tuna sashimi, and it deserves special mention. I’ve had tuna sashimi at many Asian and Japanese restaurants, and this was easily one of the best. The fish was exceptionally fresh, and the cuts were noticeably larger than what most places offer. The value was outstanding as well. My total was $32, and they even provided an additional $5 off with a coupon. The staff was friendly, attentive, and fast. Even though I ordered takeout, the interior of the restaurant was clean, inviting, and had an authentic, modern Asian atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic spot with great food, great service, and great value. Highly recommend.

The location is easy to find, making it a perfect pit stop during our journey. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which added to the pleasant experience. Betty Hunt Started with the side Caesar Salad. Delicious dressing! Daily specials sounded delectable! Alfredo was a popular dish. Enjoyed the Grilled Salmon with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans. Fish was perfectly grilled and delicious. Green Beans were unseasoned. Potatoes could have been hotter. Friendly and helpful service. Attentive to my gluten free needs.
