Tony Swann Place was dead on a Friday evening around 6 p.m. Decided to sit inside for dinner. Ordered Buffalo and dry rub lemon pepper wings for an appetizer, incredible! I love wings and order the quite often, these were some of the best wings Ive ever tasted. I had blackened shrimp tacos, with a side of corn (amazing) and mixed vegetables grilled to perfection. Wife had fried shrimp tacos, also with corn and French fries. All the food was fantastic, not even remotely bar-style offerings. The place is a huge two story building with a well stocked bar and a beer taps. Its positioned right on the river with a huge screened in patio and an additional uncovered patio on the ground floor. Upstairs has a bar, two pool tables and two dart boards. Our server Riely was awesome. Very clean restaurant. If it was busy parking would be an issue.

Amanda Doyle My family and I stopped for lunch today, our first time here and it was delicious! The wings, fries, jalapeño poppers, and the kids loved the chicken strips! Amazing service, friendly and quick service! 10 out of 10!!! We will be repeat customers for a long time!!!

Joe Roddenberry Ambience, flavor, and generous entrée portions are all pluses. The side portions were a little on the smaller side, but were definitely plenty based on the size of the entrées. Seated in the screened in area outside on a cool late October day, the atmosphere was perfect.

Jeff Johnson My wife and I stopped as we were traveling through almost 2 months ago. The restaurant was recommended by a family friend who says it is favorite restaurant anywhere. That friend and us live 3 hours away in Florida. The place did not disappoint. The food was delicious. We had the large seafood platter fried. The collards were fantastic. We will be planning our travel this weekend going home to Florida around stopping at Skippers again. Looking forward to it!

Joseph Barnett Wife loved her seafood. I had salad. Crab cakes great. But too much unnecessary plastic lids, straws, side cintaners... we ALL have plastics in blood and our brains! No wonder. US uses 500,000,000 straws a day plus.....

Hernandez Elizabeth (Lizzy) We stopped in on our route to SC and was pleasantly surprised. The sm restaurant was quick and easy to get in and out of. Our only complaint was that the syrup was out of the Dr. Pepper but they fixed it for us no problem. Everyone who works there was friendly and helpful. Highly suggest the stop! Ps. Its very easy to get in and out of, even with a camper hauling a trailer.

Dick Montana It is so refreshing to eat at a place where the folks who cook are not afraid to use a salt shaker! The food was outstanding, one of the best cheeseburgers Ive ever had. The beef had a beautiful crust without being overcooked, which means whoever did the cooking understands that texture is just as important as taste. The sweet tater fries were perfect. My wife got the salad with fried chicken and my mother in law got the chicken finger basket. She says they are the best chicken fingers she has ever had. My wife picked up the order and said the folks at the restaurant were super friendly. All in all, it was simple food done really really well by good folks. We come to Dariwn to visit family often and I think we have found our new go-to place to eat!

Caitlin M I love the employees at this store. They do the best they can with what they’ve been handed. However, my complaint with this store starts at the top. Their leaders need to ensure that there is enough bread to last an entire business day, not being left with 5 stale odds and ends left on a tray and telling them to “ration” it out or try to sell the salads to the customers. Your store is located off a busy highway and while I’m a subway fan, this store is my last choice because I already know they’re going to be limited on more than half the items. Why does ownership and management not care about the customers or their employees? Do better - it’s your job to lead - not tell them to ‘figure it out’ or ration the bread.

Carey Ive been twice now and both pizzas were excellent. I havent tried the meals in Darien yet, but when I lived in Brunswick they were always on point there. The employees are always friendly as well. Im so thankful to finally have good pizza available in town!! Definitely recommend!

Carolyn Hughes Delicious food in a great atmosphere set inside a beautiful historic house. We had the chicken and waffles—light, fluffy waffles paired with perfectly done, crispy, piping-hot chicken. The potato croquettes with bacon jam were amazing. Autumn, our waitress, was sweet, friendly, and very helpful. A wonderful experience all around!
