Ivan Orekhov We had the 5-course chef’s tasting dinner, and it was absolutely incredible! Every single dish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. We also chose the wine pairing option, and the chef’s selections complemented each course flawlessly — the combinations were simply outstanding. The atmosphere is just as impressive as the food. Being located right in the park adds a cozy and exclusive touch, and the wooden interior design makes the setting warm and elegant. Many thanks to the chef and the entire team for such an unforgettable dining experience. Without a doubt, one of the best culinary evenings we’ve ever had!

jessica malkin Out thanksgiving dinner visit to Bavette’s could not have been better. On our arrival the hostesses were polite and gracious. Offered to take our coats and brought us to our table right away. This really set the tone for the evening. The restaurant is warm and cozy and lets you know you are some place special. We ate downstairs in the parlor. It’s a bit quieter down there and was perfect for our party of 4. The server was knowledgeable and gave us some great recommendations on what steak to order. We ordered a lot to share and try. My favorites of the evening were the shrimp scampi , steak tartare and the creamed spinach. To me the absolute DO NOT MISS was the burger with bacon and egg. One of the best dishes I’ve ever had and DEFINITELY the best burger ever.

Brooke Marsh One word: Exceptional. Everything was amazing. The food was innovative and surprising. The staff were very well versed, knowledgeable, and very charismatic. The wine pairings were perfect. The atmosphere was relaxing. The only downside is that I cant give them more than 5 stars. I would highly recommend Alinea to anyone. It is worth every penny.

Tim My wife and I took a weekend trip to Chicago as a Christmas gift to each other. We wanted to go to a Michelin star restaurant and chose Boka. We chose the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing. It was the most expensive meal Ive ever paid for. However, it was also the most incredible meal experience Ive ever paid for. The service was incredible. The flavor combinations were amazing as well as surprising. We wanted an "experience" and Boka delivered. A small downside is that this is Chicago. It wasnt the most spacious seating Ive ever been in, but pretty understandable for the city. On the upside, the food was art, and being closer to other tables meant you could admire it without looking as weird, lol! Truthfully, their normal menu items are reasonably priced for the quality of everything else. You dont have to go all in like we did. It was a truly one of a kind experience that we will happily do again someday!
