Mr JL We drove in from out of town just to try Carter’s Home Cooking — and it was so worth it! Mrs. Carter is an absolute gem. She made us feel right at home the moment we walked in, like we were family. You can tell she pours her heart and soul into every dish. We had the pork chop, and it was hands down one of the best we’ve ever tasted — juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked. You can taste the love and tradition in every bite. The whole experience, from the warm welcome to the incredible food, made the drive more than worth it. Thank you, Mrs. Carter, for sharing your amazing cooking and kindness with us. We don’t live in the state but if we ever visit Louisiana again we will be back!

Karen Gros This is one of my regular stops for late dinners when I have to go out of town. Its easy to pop in and pick up a couple of Subs for dinner with very little wait. The employees at this location are polite and always do a good job in making whichever sandwich you choose. The ingredients are fresh and the station always clean. I have no complaints about this location and their service. Always good! The restaurant is clean so if yo want to dine in, dont fret. Take-out is as fast as they can make your order and pay for it. I have only had to wait in line a couple of times and when this happens a second employee gets on the line and they keep the line moving effectively this way. Good food!

Mazey Hoover I have had cheeseburgers all across the country and even the world, in town for a wedding and this sonic right here may have been the best experience I’ve encountered I got the double smash and then an original cheeseburger and can’t stop thinking about them both hope this place stays busy! Thanks for the great meal!

Carmen L. Townsend This location was very clean. The combo meals were gourmet fast food. You get what you pay for. The burgers are smaller but still good. Staff was professional and friendly. Fountain drink machine, as well as condiments, were not found in the restaurant.

Reanne johnston Visited Big J’s with 9 people on a Saturday, the place was dead. Why? I couldn’t tell you. The customer service and bbq were beyond exceptional. The waitress Tracy, was so kind and friendly. Big J hand delivered our food, minutes from when we ordered. I can’t wait to add this to our usual spots! Thanks Big J and Tracy!!!

Seth Matherne The online order process is so up front and easy. Customizing your orders or adding notes is super simple! I got one of the poboys and it was excellent both in taste and proportion. I ate half of it before I stopped to take a picture. Highly recommend!

The food is always hot, fresh, and served quickly, which leaves plenty of time to sit back, relax, and enjoy visiting with friends and family. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, they go out of their way to make the experience special. Clinton is lucky to have a place like this!

Amber Brown-Wambolt This has always been my go to for general tso every other place I use panda Chinese as the top tier in comparison and it was the best Ive ever had on a busy Friday night and their food is spot on no cutting corners. I love the amount of Szechuan pepper in it thats what really made it the best. That little extra heat. Not too much but made the whole meal to perfection. I never have any complaints of this restaurant and I absolutely adore the family who owns it. Keep up the great work and nothing really changes you can go everyday and get the same thing it will be the same everytime theres no overcooked noodle or rice no sauce that was different then before I dont know how the little extra Szechuan pepper was added but Im here for it.
