Alyse Gray We chose Le Suprême for our anniversary celebration and it was a great experience! When we arrived, our table wasnt quite ready, but the staff was attentive and recommended we grab a drink at the beautiful bar, which was a nice start to the evening. The Food For our appetizer, we split the Salade Lyonnaise, which was perfectly executed—a great, traditional French starter. For the entrees: Lapin à la Moutarde: I was encouraged to try the rabbit (a first for me!) and it was quite flavorful. The meat was surprisingly sweet and tender. My only small note is that I wished the accompanying tagliatelle had been served with a bit more sauce to fully coat the pasta. Burger du Maison: My husband went with the house burger and was very satisfied. The burger was cooked well and the fries had a nice bite and were perfectly seasoned. We ended the meal flawlessly with the profiteroles served with warm dark chocolate sauce. It was the perfect classic French dessert to finish our celebration. Le Suprême offers beautiful ambiance and great food for a special night out. We definitely recommend it!

Saleh Hadarah The Grill Shack — A Hidden Gem for Comfort Food Lovers! I recently stopped by The Grill Shack, and I was blown away by how good the food was! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. Their rice bowls are absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned, generous portions, and the mix of grilled meat, veggies, and sauce hits all the right notes. The burgers are next-level too — juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and the flavor stands out with every bite. And I have to mention the chicken Philly — it’s honestly one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Tender chicken, melty cheese, and that perfect toasted roll make it a must-try. The service was friendly and fast, and the whole vibe of the place feels warm and welcoming. Whether you’re grabbing lunch or dinner, The Grill Shack is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend it!

4.HAUS OF BRUNCH

Address: 204 Michigan Ave, Detroit, MI 48226

Len Curry Haus of Brunch absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was warm, attentive, and welcoming, and the food was outstanding across the board. Let’s start with the biscuits because they deserve their own spotlight—fluffy, buttery, golden on the outside, and downright addictive. Honestly, the biscuits alone are worth the visit. The fried chicken breast was perfectly cooked: crispy, golden, and juicy with great seasoning throughout. It paired beautifully with the rest of the plate and never felt heavy or greasy. The breakfast potatoes were crisp on the outside and tender inside, full of flavor, and clearly cooked with care. The gravy was rich and comforting, tying everything together without overpowering the dish. Even the eggs were done right—simple, fresh, and well executed. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, well plated, and satisfying. Add in the friendly service and relaxed brunch vibe, and this place easily stands out. If you’re in Detroit and looking for a top-tier brunch spot, Haus of Brunch is a must. Highly recommend—and we’ll absolutely be back

Annie Chen Mootz absolutely delivered! We came with a small group and tried a mix of pizzas and pasta — everything was flavorful and well-balanced. The Fungi Juliet was the standout: cheesy, earthy, and super satisfying without feeling heavy. The other specialty pizza we ordered had prosciutto, balsamic drizzle, and fresh herbs — so good and the crust was the perfect combo of chewy and crispy. We also shared the Gemelli pasta, which was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor from the sausage and greens. Portions were generous and great for sharing. Service was quick and friendly, and the overall vibe was casual, warm, and perfect for a dinner out with friends. Definitely recommend Mootz if you’re craving Detroit-style quality with creative toppings. We’ll be back!

Amber Johnson Drinks: They have a lot of different alcoholic beverages! For non-alcoholic drinks, they had sodas with Leonards Syrups (local). As a huge Diet Coke fan, their diet option was so good! Food: We got 5 sliders total. The mystery meat of the day slider was lamb, pickled onions, and some type of sauce. It was just okay, glad we tried something different though! PBJ (waiter recommend we add bacon) was delicious with or without the bacon! Spicy crispy chicken was also good! Would have preferred actual pickles (whats in the description) instead of cucumbers. Still great though! Philly cheesesteak had good flavor and had a generous serving of meat. Last slider was the Fluffer Nutter for dessert (not pictured) and holy moly, it was fantastic! Service: 10/10 Matt was our waiter and he absolutely rocked! Amazingly quick service too! The overall vibe was welcoming and super chill.

I don’t know what my problem was that night lol everything was homemade the drinks were delicious. We had a cappuccino at the end of the night with our dessert. I loved what they gave our check on. It was super cute. Very good spot and fun place to go!

Qandah Sal “EatThisDetroit” I had an amazing experience at Hop Cat in Detroit. We ordered a bunch of food and I loved the burgers. The shareable nachos were excellent. And the beer cheese is the best I’ve ever had. We had a couple beers that that came out crisp and cold. Great environment, and place to get together and watch a game. I will definitely be coming back here as I am hooked on their burgers. Our waitress Annie was awesome. She made sure that our drinks were full and we had everything that we needed to have a Great dining Experience

Taylor E We truly enjoyed our dinner here on the patio outside. We ordered the black bean burger and the beef burger (cooked to medium since the standard is medium rare for the restaurant unless you say otherwise). Both burgers were delicious and full of flavor. We also ordered 2 sangrias and those were super yummy. For sides, we got the garlic cilantro fries (very oily but so delicious!) and the loaded plantains. When sitting outside, they brought us a tray of condiments, napkins, and tap water. They do have a happy hour and we will have to come back to try that out. Highly recommend!

Brian D October 2025 - came here before going to the LCA. What a great restaurant! The food and service was great. We ordered the whole chicken, collards, mashed potatoes, green beans, and spoonbread. Everything was very good and my wife and I could not finish it all. We also ordered some hush puppies that were very good too. The service was very good. If you want a good meal, and you like southern cooking, this is a great place to go to.

Cindy W. I really enjoyed my dinner here on a random Monday night. Food- excellent flavor and presentation. They don’t have a very large menu but we tried the ricotta gnocchi, mussels, and steak frites, all are very delicious and well made. Especially the mussels, they were fat and the sauce it came with was well balanced of sourness flavor. Service- everyone was eager to help during our dinner. All the employee seemed very knowledgable about the menu, even offering suggestions and background to the restaurant. Atmosphere- street parking right outside the restaurant made it convenient. The interior was nicely decorated and dimly lit for a good date night vibe. The bar had a huge selection of liquor and it was display very well to really draw the eyes to the bar area. Cocktails- well balanced and beautifully presented. The out of office drink was my favorite. Overall, I would definitely stop here next time I’m in the area.
