Darren Simmons Walked in to a great little three piece jazz band by the bar. Very cool. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is very comfortable, almost to the point you don’t want to leave. The homemade bread and olive tapenade is a fantastic way to start. We had the melanzana eggplant appetizer, awesome. Entrees were penne romanoff with vodka sauce and Anthony’s pasta with sausage and meatballs, risotto frutti dimare and the risotto fungi. All were absolutely fantastic. It’s a must try if you love authentic Italian cuisine.

Ikraam Aslam First of all, this place is halal-friendly, which was a huge plus. They have both hot pot and Korean BBQ, and the menu is very well thought out with icons showing what is halal and what is not. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was well-marinated, fresh, and delicious, from the poultry and seafood to the beef and lamb. Even the starters like rangoons and dumplings were so good that I ordered them several times. You get a 2-hour dining window, but around 1.5 to 1.75 hours in they’ll kindly let you know to start wrapping up, which honestly makes sense since by then you’re full and winding down. Service was outstanding. A big shoutout to Dylan, who was our main waiter. He was attentive, clear in communication, and incredibly fast. Anytime we placed an order through the iPad, the food came out almost immediately. Dylan and the rest of the staff were also quick to swap out our grills to keep everything clean and safe, which made the whole experience even better. Dessert deserves its own highlight: the crème brûlée was so good that I personally had about 10 of them, no joke, and the group went through nearly all of them. The ice cream options (taro, chocolate, vanilla, and cream) were also excellent. The overall experience of cooking the food yourself, enjoying high-quality meats, and having such attentive service made it one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. My tip: focus on the proteins and don’t fill up on carbs so you can really maximize the unlimited option. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great halal-friendly hot pot and BBQ experience. Amazing food, amazing service, and amazing atmosphere.

Matt Jones Came from out of town for a family event. Our previous night pick was mediocre at best. We arrived with no reservation on a busy night and they made room for us upstairs. I cannot put into words how good the service was and how great the specials are. Escargot, veal, seafood and steak at 1 place that is amazing. Check out my reviews, I dont give amazing, lightly.

mk Lemon Enjoyed our first visit, we came back a second time. The Brie sandwich was delicious. The butter chicken Mac & cheese was unique. The Caesar salad with anchovies was my go to. Although, I noticed the shaved egg wasn’t on the salad on our first visit. Only been to the bar side but there’s more seating at the back and behind the bar. Drinks were good as well. Was hoping to watch the football game on our second visit but they weren’t able to play it. Not a letdown but it’s not a sports bar.

Ciro Scotti Excellent Italian restaurant in Albany, NY . Only has 7 tables and some bar seating so getting a reservation is a must. The food was excellent, from appetizers to dessert, and the service was prompt and courteous. A lot of the sauce put on the pasta can be a little spicy but if you request no spice they are very accommodating and make the dish the way you would like. They bottle their own limoncello which is very good as well.

Prof. John Visited again today 8/2. Comments at the end. This will be a long review. Yesterday I visited a restaurant that has been around for a long time. [The Fountain] I remember going here 60 years ago. Wow, am I old! Jen was my waitress and she was also the bartender. She was very friendly and helpful. The Fountain is listed as an Italian restaurant and is known for its pizza. There are many other Italian dishes. I have had the pizza and it is very good . But one of my favorites is the burger with a side of tuna and ring mac salad. One of the few places with ring pasta. It is outstanding. I get the burger well done. It was cooked thoroughly but still moist. Just like I remember. VERY GOOD. I usually get a diet and beer and relax while waiting for the food. As I have said in other reviews, a pint is too much for me. The Fountain is one of the few places with a short beer 10oz . Great for me. The Fountain brought back memories from my adolescents. I will visit again. If you are in the area or can take a short drive, it is definitely worth the trip. Visited again yesterday. Met Ginger. She was very friendly and attentive. She waited on us. I enjoyed chatting with her also. My intention was to get a pizza. But I could not help myself in ordering the burger and tuna rings. Again, very good. My wife got a 10" pizza. She had some there and we took the rest with us. I had a small piece to try right out of the over. It was a thinner crust the way I like. It was a cheese and was good. Not exactly the way I remember but I usually got a topping and it was a long time ago. It was good and we both had a nice time and was glad we met Ginger. I will return and will try a pizza with a topping like I intended this time. Like I said before, worth the trip . Today 8/2, I visited and ordered my usual, burger and tuna rings salad, photo, (but already put the other half of the burger away to take). Well done as I like it but still moist . What can I say, was very good. Jen was there working the bar. My waitress was Silva, upbeat and attentive. Very nice. Had my usual diet and short beer, always a plus for me. Savanna brought out my meal. Also upbeat. Enjoyed the time there.

Tressa W Absolutely amazing! Only had appetizers, but hella good! Got the escargot, rich garlic butter and cheese! By far, my favorite dish of the night! Pork belly boa and gnocchi to finish the night. Pork was so soft and tender, paired great with the cucumber packed just a little crunch! And the gnocchi were sweet little clouds of yummy potatoes in a pesto sauce! Drinks are amazing as well!

William Sprossel Got here early Saturday night. Very few people in with just the bartender as server. He was polite cordial, and accommodating. We sat in the back room next to the fireplace. I ordered 2 appetizers (chicken bacon ranch quesadilla, and tator tots) both were excellent. the cbr was actually on a garlic tortilla and was amazing. Wife had grilled chicken which was juicy and flavorful. Will recommend this place to everyone

Jacquelyn Wiltsie Ophelia’s on Broadway is hands down one of the best spots in the area. The food is consistently amazing – every dish is fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with a lot of care. The atmosphere is unbeatable, whether you’re stopping in for dinner or catching a show. The live music is always top notch, and it really elevates the entire experience into something special and memorable. You can feel the passion behind this place – from the welcoming staff to the way everything flows together so seamlessly. It’s not just dinner, it’s a whole vibe. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. Ophelia’s is truly a gem on Broadway, and every visit makes me look forward to the next one.

Cat M. We were looking for a place to eat since we only had a few hours to spend in Albany, found this place online. Will be honest at first I wasnt so enthusiastic about the place we walked by without noticing the entrance. The place was empty, so we got a table right away. We order the food and drinks. Our waitress came several times to the table to check on us. The fried chicken with the mac and cheese was amazing but the rice was not much. As appetizer, we got chicken egg rolls and they were delicious. Definitely try their banana pudding it was the best way to end our trip to Albany.
