SharkMan Our family stopped here for breakfast while visiting the area. The diner was friendly and busy on a Saturday morning. We were seated right away. The service was great and the whole menu looked delicious. We chose specials from the board and were VERY pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic. We would highly recommend Top of the Morning. Christina Marie F The best Filet Mignon and Ribeye Steaks (both cooked to rare but crusty perfection, and a tasty Gorgonzola) we have ever had in our life!!! Extremely delicious and great price (I think it was $42 for an 8 ounce Filet, and $43 for a 12 ounce Ribeye). Their scallop special over risotto was tasty too! Bread was yummy- Crusty, warm, and the drizzled garlic parsley butter was a nice touch. This place is a gem. It honestly lacked for nothing… Style, elegance, immaculately clean, and superb food make this place my new favorite. I live in Rochester, which means two hours to drive but worth it. Definitely in my top 5 restaurants. Owner was a gracious host, and his team outstanding with impeccable customer service start to finish. Will definitely be back!!!

Chris Hackett Finally! An awesome casual restaurant that specializes in gourmet specialty hot dogs and also offers a build your own dog with a huge selection of traditional and freshly made inhouse toppings. I went for the Chicago Dog and it was spectacular! Only place in CNY you can actually find a Chicago Dog made just like the back in the Windy City. The fresh made fries were also excellent. They also offer home made sides. The space is diner like and clean. Usually easy street parking. The owners are open to ideas and very friendly. Thr Utica Greens Dog is now on the menu and the best dog you will have in upstate NY! Definitely will be a regular at The Dog House.

Giselle Ruiz May’s Kitchen is a gem for authentic Haitian food. May—the friendly owner and cook—welcomes everyone like family, and her dishes are packed with rich, traditional flavor. From perfectly seasoned meats to amazing rice and beans, everything tastes homemade and heartfelt. A warm atmosphere, generous portions, and incredible food make this spot an easy five-star choice.

Kiki Raymond My partner and I went for lunch while we were running errands in the Utica area. (We live in Syracuse). This was absolutely one of the best meals Ive had in a long time. The portions were excellent and the food was HOT and tasty. I 100% recommend this place if youre looking for yummy satisfying food. Service was a bit slow, but Im pretty sure our waitress was the only one working while we were there and there were a bunch of other tables so totally understandable. Give them a try, you wont regret it.

Dhara Mistry Finally, I found the best pizza place in my town. From the moment you step into Mangia Macrina’s Wood Fired Pizzeria, the aroma of wood smoke and baking dough transports you straight to the bustling streets of Naples, Italy. This isnt just pizza; its an experience, a testament to the art and tradition of Neapolitan pizza making. We ordered Margherita and Vesuvius and they were incredible. The staff were really knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend. They have plenty of beverages options that can perfectly go with your meal.

Nancy Taylor The ambiance and lots of separate seating areas make this a very comfortable eatery. The food is unique, tasty, presented well and made from fresh ingredients . Put all of this together with an attentive and friendly waitstaff and you have a WINNER!

Stacey A Wanted to try something new and was so beyond satisfied, I simply had to come here and tell people about how delicious my meal was. Everything was extremely fresh, flavorful, and the food was big portions, too! I didn’t know what to expect as I can be picky and don’t love to experiment necessarily food wise but I am so happy I took a leap of faith here. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. I absolutely will be back for more food, and will be recommending this place to everyone I know. By far the star of what we ordered, I will dream about the shish tawook. It was just so tender and delicious, it was just as good the next day too. The lamb was perfectly cooked too. Seriously, try this place! Your stomach will thank you.

James Pike The Best Riggies in the entire area, no discrepancy or comparison to any place. If you love Riggies like we do, you HAVE to come here. Service is always pleasant and very nice even if its busy. The atmosphere is VERY Italian with lots to look at with antiques. One of the best places to eat in the area hands down. 13/10 recommended.
