Jonathan Witmer-Rich Excellent food, great vibes, we loved it. Three of us shared the papas a la huancaina appetizer, the ceviche entree, and the lomo soltado de carne. All three were great. Friendly staff, good service. Just a fantastic meal all around.

Grace Li Potato Leek Soup was delicious. The bread that comes with it pairs with it perfectly. The burger was delicious. The romaine and red onion slaw, cheddar and 5 hour onions complimented it so well. The house blend mix of fries you get were so crispy and delicious too. My husband’s crab cake sandwich was very good and light too. We used to eat at urban table whenever we stayed the night, but this will now become our new dinner spot. Service was friendly and attentive. I liked how the place wasn’t super crowded when we first arrived and they didn’t place all guests in the same corner like most places do. My husband and I were seated in a nice spot away from anyone. Also, the manager greeted us and also checked in with us. I saw him do that to other tables as well. More restaurants should adopt this model of service. It makes a great impression especially on first time diners.

Matthew Winkler Best happy hour and drink prices in bethlehem. $8 smoked old fashion for happy hour and it was delicious. Great lunch specials. $14 chicken katsu bento box and it was perfect. Plus Nick behind the bar could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Brandon Eustice I had the 16oz New York Strip and my Wife had the braised beef short rib. We shared oysters for our appetizer. The oysters came with a variety of sauces/garnishes, all of which were spectacular. Both the quality of ingredients and the craftsmanship in preparation of our dinners were phenomenal. Our bill was $140, so don’t come here expecting a tremendous value, but you definitely don’t feel shortchanged either. The atmosphere is elegant and calm, the service is great (had two waiters), and the food exceeds expectations even for the price. We waited about an hour and a half for the two of us to be seated, but we didn’t have a reservation and we put our name in early, so we didn’t mind. The casino has a lovely bar called The Coil that we hung out at and watched football until it was time for dinner.

Morgen Hatton We came early. The morning was bright. The kind that makes you feel clean inside. The kind that makes you want coffee and something hot to eat. Amber ordered the Skutchy. She said the name like a secret. It came crisped and folded, warm and golden, dusted with sugar like snow on the high mountains. Potatoes beside it, browned with purpose, no nonsense. I had the weekly special. Something new, something daring. A sandwich that carried weight and meaning. Sharp greens, meat slow-cooked with care, drizzled with something dark and sweet. It filled the plate and the belly. The coffee was good. Hot, honest. Shannon made sure the cups never stayed empty long. She moved with grace, and when she spoke, you listened. Her voice had that thing. Warmth and story, like a fire that doesn’t smoke. Billy the chef came out. Wiped his hands. Talked to us like we were old friends. He cooks like he means it. We talked about Bethlehem, and how the downtown still holds charm. Shannon told us about The Tavern at the Sun Inn, said we should see it next time. We will. There are meals you eat and forget. Then there are meals like this, with people like that. If you are ever in Bethlehem, you stop in at The People’s Kitchen. You hope Shannon’s working. You hope the chef’s name is still Billy. And you drink your coffee slowly. Because some places are worth coming back to.

7.Franciscos Salvadoreño Restaurant

Address: 100 E Broad St, Bethlehem, PA 18018

Richard W After dining here a few times, I’m convinced Francisco’s is one of the best restaurants in the area. The food’s cheap, delicious, filling, and incredibly consistent. You’d be hard pressed to find a better value than the $8 yuca con chicharrones. Even though it’s listed as an appetizer, it’s almost a full meal. The meat’s well-seasoned with a savory marinade. The yuca is soft and fluffy with a lightly oily crispy crust—not an easy feat to achieve consistently. Other dishes I’ve tried were also amazing. The pupusas have such a deep corn flavor. I’d skip the beef empanadas as the chicken empanadas are much tastier. The cow’s foot soup is warm, soft, and comforting from all the slow-cooked collagen. I do wish it had a punchier flavor, but it does its job of being a comfort food. Overall, for the price, it’s hard to beat the value offered by Francisco’s.

Marlayna crespo I was walking the area and decided to stop in, I always drive by but never went in. I had the Crab Benedict it was packed with so much flavor!! Loved the dish entirely. The home fries were cooked good and crispy. The price you pay is worth the portions. Customer service is very good here also! Lovely, kind and friendly waitresses.

Melissa Matos A beautifully decorated, quaint Chinese restaurant with FLAVORFUL authentic food! My girlfriend and I ordered the cabbage and pork dumplings, pork soup dumplings, shrimp wonton noodle soup, and fresh shrimp wonton soup. We are HUGE dim sum lovers and have eaten at many dim sum locations. We were exceptionally pleased with everything we ordered! The pork soup dumplings and pork dumplings were packed with so much flavor! The shrimp wontons in the soups had so much flavor alone and the broth was delicious! I highly recommend coming here as dine in for your first experience! Such a great ambience! We will be frequent returners!

Cory Miller 5 Stars For Food, 10 Stars For Mary! I go to Mitzi’s table multiple times a week, every week, and there are not enough positive words in the dictionary to describe the experience that I get and the amazing service that Mary provides! I am almost always on my lunch break, and I get greeted immediately and taken straight to a table! To my surprise, Mary even brings my usual iced tea without even needing to ask! The food is delicious, very modern, and the prices are beyond fair (trust me, I travel around 100 days each year, I would know!). I have never had anything less than an exemplary experience with delightful food! I would even go one step further to say that I feel like part of the family when I come to visit for lunch. Thank you so much for always being the best part of my work day! ❤️

11.Hi Pot - Bethlehem

Address: 312 E 3rd St, Bethlehem, PA 18015

Rina Teo We love this place so much, we drive over 30 minutes each way with the sole mission to eat here and always have a great experience with their hot pot, so delicious and satisfying! Very fresh and authentic Taiwanese flavors. Their hot pots have set ingredients, but you can ask for omission of things you dont like. There is a list of additional ingredients you can order, great appetizers - try the dumplings, desserts and boba drinks. They also serve ramen, but we prefer the hot pot. The hot pot is served piping hot in a wok-like bowl with a sterno they light to keep your meal hot from start to finish. The glass noodles and tofu skin need to be submerged in the soup to finish cooking, everything else is ready to enjoy. Eat the seafood first or set on a plate to prevent overcooking. The staff is exceptional and accommodating; very friendly. They speak English well, but be patient if they dont understand right away.

Zeena The food is delicious, I recommend the scrambles and the burritos. We had the Bentley scramble, which was great but the sharp provolone cheese on top overpowered the taste and smell of everything else. The breakfast burrito was my favorite. If you like super sweets rather than savory, I recommend the Oreo French toast
