Cave Arnold 2025: Very nice supper. We are inside at a booth as it was quite cool outside. This is the second Bubba Gumps we have eaten at. The fried shrimp are excellent. We enjoyed the spectacular view from the pier and the second floor of the restaurant. The gulf and beach was beautiful near sunset. Would eat here again when in the area.

Danielle Gogert This place is a hidden gem. The construction and attention to detail for design was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. We got the egg rolls and the French dip. It was the best sandwich we’ve ever had. Definitely need to stop in and support this restaurant. 10/10 recommend!

TLP I researched quite a bit to find the best restaurant in Galveston according to locals, and Millers Seawall Grill was frequently mentioned. Even with high expectations it did not disappoint! First off, its worth noting that its been here for 50 years. Theyre doing something right. And the location is perfect: overlooking the ocean near Pleasure Pier. We loved how broad and interesting the menu was, and that everything we tried was between very good and exceptional. My wife loves seafood but I do not, so I appreciated being able to get her all the seafood she could desire while I got other things I love. A friend we were with said the ribeye was the best steak hed ever eaten. The biscuits were incredible: melt in your mouth almost like a savory cotton candy. The waffles were so good I ordered them multiple times. They taste like old fashiones donuts. And for those who like seafood but cant choose what they want, theres a very good deal on a kings platter where you can try so many things and can have your seafood blackened, Cajun style, or fried. I loved the historic vibe of the place and the intimate feeling of the restaurant. Its not too big or loud, and its designed so that almost all the tables have ocean views. Great place to eat, and great for giving gift cards. The friends weve taken have been so impressed!

Blessed Abundance We were a group of six, and every single one of us was blown away by the food. The flavors were so rich and authentic—true Italian cuisine done right. All six dishes came out perfect, and not a single bite disappointed. They also had a great wine selection, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re in Galveston and want something memorable!

Review ThisPlace I cant say enough about how delicious the food was and real southern hospitality. Everyone was so nice and friendly. We had the fried ribs, fish, chicken wings, green beans, Mac n cheese, yams, sweet potatoes and corn muffin. OMG!! It was all good!!! This is a definite place to put on your "must eat at" places. Coming from Nashville and finding this jewel of a place was awesome.

Dewey Beene They are not even words in the human lexicon to describe how amazing this place is. When they are created, I will return to edit this review. In the meantime, if you’re in the Galveston area, just shut up and get here as quickly as possible for breakfast or brunch. Amazing staff, incredible food, and the best view on the patio.

Ankita Lodh We went in with moderate expectations since this was right across from Pleasure Pier. But we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Most popular choices here are fried, but we went with lighter options. The caesar salad with salmon was a wonderful, fresh entree. The dressing was so nice and garlicky, and the salmon was cooked perfectly! The salmon was on the soft side and seasoned generously. The shrimp cocktail was also very good. We sat upstairs in the covered patio, and we got a nice view of the ocean.

David Cowen What a hidden gem. From the outside you can’t tell anything about either the hotel or the restaurant. But inside it is beautiful and elegant. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Visited for first time for dinner for my wife’s birthday. They were lovely to her and us. The smoked oyster tartine was one of the best appetizers ever. The snapper was delicious and cooked perfectly. Deserts - creme brûlée and strawberry rhubarb butter cake - were heavenly. A wonderful experience and we plan to go back.

Zachary Talbot We enjoyed a family afternoon in Galveston and chose Katies Seafood House for an early dinner. We started with the Crab Cakes & Smkmed Fish & Shrimp Dip. Both were very delicious! The crab cakes came with some fried crab claws on the side which were amazing, and the dip was creamy with large chunks of smoked fish inside! For dinner we chose the Broiled Seafood platter which came out presented beautifully (Brett and Ty even added a little extra crab meat on top of the blue crab). The flounder was flaky and seasoned perfectly. The frog bomb was a nice addition, and the grilled shrimp were amazing! I had a dozen oysters on the half shell which came with nice sauces to mix. My wife enjoyed a Caesar salad, and a crab meat Mac & cheese which was large enough to share as a side or enjoyed as a meal for one. The kids had sliders and popcorn shrimp. We didnt have a chance to, but if you have time stop by the seafood market to see the fresh catches for the day!

lance allen Had an awesome dinner at Cooper’s Landing! We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp—crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice. For mains, we had the Shrimp & 4 Cheese Tortellini (so rich and delicious) and the Seafood Salad (super fresh and tasty). The service was excellent—friendly and attentive—and the atmosphere was really comfortable and inviting. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to others.
