theDSsucks Driving through, stopped here for the night and ventured out to this strip and this was o e of the few places still open but it was pretty dead as they were getting ready to close. I still enjoyed my beer and my peace and quiet. It’s a big beautiful space so I imagine it can get quite noisy when full. Staff was great. Allowed me to sample a few of their other beers before settling on the Mexican lager. Enjoyed my quiet time! It also happened to be $2 beers on Tuesday so extra bonus!

Rohde Nikki (OutThisDoor) Excellent food and drinks. I had the burger which was wonderful and excellent sweet potato fries. The 1903 cocktail was excellent! The establishment is two stories with lots of seating inside and out but it is very popular, I can see why reservations would be needed on weekend nights. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was awesome! Lots of parking.

Johnny Ray Come to visit my little brother and this place is by far the best food Ive had here in Amarillo 8 absolutely love the service they are so kind and sweet here if you ever in Amarillo or looking for good food this is the place to be

Al Tal Dined here last night, the place seems like it was recently opened, and a lot of things werent perfectly in place. The waiter had some difficulties speaking English, nevertheless he was nice and friendly. The complimentary chips and salasa were very tasty. We ordered shrimp tacos and shrimp quesadillas. Both were good, but not amazing. The taste was flat. Nothing amazing or outstanding. The dishes were nicely served. They had some great options of hot sauces, which I enjoyed, especially La Anita (Green). The prices are reasonable. We paid nearly $30. Note that the portions are slightly small compared to other places in the states.

Bonnie Caproon Lets talk about Zombiez. I was passing through on a late night drive from Tucson to Tulsa, and needed a cold drink, something to eat, to stretch my legs, and to get my mind off everything. This is the spot. A no frills dive (complimentary) where you can feel at home as a complete stranger. Food was great, for what it was: a smash burger and tots, $12. Smoked a cig indoors, made a couple new friends, and regretted that i had to leave so soon. Bartender was sweet and attentive. Prices were exactly where they oughta be. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. Jukebox and pool table on offer. If i ever pass through Amarillo again, itll be because I wanted to go back to this bar! Cheers, Zombiez!

Lindsey Carver Highly recommend Valore! The fresh house-made bread and marinara starter is delicious & you can’t go wrong with any dish! The Yarelis pasta and beef tips with caprese salad are my current faves!!! The Tiramisu - YUM! Kids loveeee! Just go, thank me later!

Manpreet Pannu What a gem in Amarillo! The décor is beautiful, and it’s clearly popular, very busy even on a weekday morning. We ordered the Drag Me through garden omelette with added avocado and the egg omelette with ham, served with cheesy potatoes and a side of French toast. Everything was absolutely delicious, (French toast side was only $5 which included half of brioche French toast bread, fruit, whipped cream, raspberry sauce and side of syrup, enjoyed every bite) and the portions were generous. Customer service was excellent as well. Highly recommended!

Jamie Pichcuskie We had a fantastic lunch at X- today. The wine list was impressive and the food was delicious. The staff was wonderful. The manager waa very kind and helpful. They were also extra careful with my allergy concerns. I look forward to returning soon.

Tonya Stubblefield We were in town to celebrate my son graduating from West Texas A&M and wanted to have a nice dinner. We were all very happy with the service we received from everyone there and definitely no complaints about the quality of food. Yes, I would recommend anyone wanting to have a nice dinner should go there. Thanks for making our night together a good one.

Craig Shackelford Went for my sons birthday. His choice was the Cajun seafood boil with clams, crawfish and lobster tail with garlic butter sauce. It also comes with corn and potatoes, which also are very flavorful. Having been cooked with the garlic butter. We had the calamari, appetizer, which Ive had calamari in the past, and its proved to not be my favorite. But this was pretty good.

Don Truelock Everything we had was really good. The catfish, house made chips and those hushpuppies was awesome. The steakfingers were nice and tender. The hamburger steak was fantastic. The place is a true hidden gem.

Jillian B This is my second time to stay at the Embassy suites in Amarillo and we decided to dine in at 1887 again. Our first experience was just as great as this time around. Tuesday afternoon for dinner, Devin was our server (the only one), and he was more than fantastic! Our water glasses were never empty! When I asked about locally brewed ale, he made a great suggestion and it was a very tasty ipa brewed in the panhandle. Our party enjoyed the parmesean truffle fries, BBQ wings, steak, spaghetti, caper pasta, chicken Alfredo, cheese cake and gelato. The only discrepancy was the gelato trio was more of a duo - three scoops, but two chocolate and one coconut. Now, if youre expecting to get good food for cheap, keep on scrolling because this is not the place for you. You definitely get what you pay for. Kudos to Devin and the kitchen staff - thanks for a great dinner!
