Kat3 Wow! This place was SO good for dinner, that we had to go back again for brunch! All of the staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. And to top it off, the food was fantastic, too! Jamie greeted us with a smile, and her expertise and love for her work showed by how well she took care of us! Everything from the drinks to the main courses were great! So good that we returned for brunch! The breakfast sandwiches were excellent as well, and the food both times dissapearred!

Holly Gore Love getting to do a “choose your own adventure” for the beer flight. Soft pretzel is done right and the mustard is yummy. Really good beer, seems like a beloved spot by the locals so was happy to get to visit. They do to-go cans as well.

Jill House Excellent breakfast food on Friday Harbor. The restaurant is small inside with not much seating but we were able to get the last table about 8am. Menu has enough variety for any appetite. The pancakes are HUGE!! Our family could eat off the whole stack. Kids menu is perfect for the little ones. I had the American Burrito. It was also delicious. Chicken fried steak was good. You can’t go wrong. Prices are a little expensive. $100 breakfast for 5 people. We didn’t order any drinks.

Becky Our family had a fabulous dinner here. A new place in FH to not miss! The atmosphere is warm and stylish. I love they kept the special woodwork. The friendly staff was attentive without being intrusive, encouraging us to take our time and savor our dinning experience. Each dish we had was delicious and left us talking about coming back for our next dinner. We were too full for desert but I can attest the morning cinnamon rolls are out of this world

Paula Arrived at the ferry terminal a few hours early to our Airbnb check-in so we parked and walked into town to get a bite to eat. Stepped into Haley’s Sports Bar and were immediately greeted by two very nice and attentive servers. We split a chicken Caesar wrap, which was very plentiful, and I ordered a cup of loaded baked potato soup, which was very thick… I enjoyed it. Very reasonable lunch for two in the town of Friday Harbor.

MyVisit MyView Amazing sushi spot in Friday Harbor! The sushi is incredibly fresh, tasty, and absolutely delicious. They also offer a fun selection of sake, whether you prefer it warm or cold. Other beverages as well, alcoholic or non alcoholic beer. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. A must-visit if you’re in Friday Harbor! Walking distance from the ferry terminal. We enjoyed the spicy garlic edamame, spicy tuna roll, Mount Baker roll, tempura shrimp roll, sashimi which was outstanding! The tempura veggies were crisp and delicious. The gyoza was a fun add. Such a fun night! Group of seven very full, very happy! We will be back! Thank you!

Peter Lekhakul Stopped for a bite to eat before heading back on ferry, late late lunch/ early dinner, during the week, during off-season, so but busy at all. It was a nice place with a bar and inside seating area, no outside seating. Seats by the window has a great view of the harbor and ferry dock. Staff very friendly... had the clam chowder and daily special, rigatone bolognese with meat sauce. The chowder was tasty, had descent amounts of clam chunks and potatoes (soft, but held shape). The soup was well seasoned, not too salty or thin, medium thickness. The pasta was cooked perfectly, al dente, sauce had really good flavor, not too salty or acidic. Solid tasting dish and good portion too. Price wise, not cheap eats prices, $29 for pasta, so in the high side but it was the special, which usually more expensive than normal menu, chowder cup was $6, normal-low. So depends what you eat, overall normal priced for upper quality. They had miso cod on the menu and didnt try but sounded good. Good place, Ill come back...

Joshua M My wife and I had dinner here for our first wedding anniversary and it was truly exceptional in every way. For context, my wife is a food snob while I have the pallate refinement of a garbage can. Both of us found the entire evening to be absolutely incredible, 100% worth the money, and will certainly be coming back to celebrate with Walden in the future. All of the staff knew our names, why we were there, and went to great lengths to help us feel celebrated, including flowers, personalized notes, and a customized vegetarian menu for myself. The ambiance was elegant and inviting. Gabriella and her team struck the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. She was incredibly knowledgeable but also conversational in the most natural, unforced way, making us feel welcome while still giving us our privacy throughout the evening. We also particularly enjoyed getting to see her teach her team and seeing them work together. We highly recommend sitting at the chef’s counter if you get the chance, you won’t be disappointed.

Cindy Pealstrom Madrone is a very unassuming cute little spot that we almost passed right by! Thank goodness we didnt! We were greeted by two very lovely ladies and decided to do tastings instead of glasses of wine. She offered to bring them out to the lovely deck and of course we agreed on such a gorgeous day! We sampled 5 wines, each one unique in flavor and body. All were delicious! The deck is stunning having just been rebuilt after a devastating fire 6 weeks prior. Service was great, wines were great and the area was great! Well definitely be back!

Paula Based on a recommendation from a local, we made a reservation on a Tuesday evening at 6:15. We called and they called us back to verify. We really enjoyed Vinny‘s. The hostess was super sweet and our service from Jesus was wonderful. The calamari was superior and the lasagna was very tasty. We might caution you - if you arrive late - some of their specialties may be gone as we got the last two servings of lasagna and the restaurant I believe was open for a few more hours. Get there early if you want the yummy food!!

Justin Swanson This is our go to hotel in Friday Harbor. Fantastic service, great rooms, and an unbeatable location to walk the town. Only complaint for the room was the fireplace was a bit finicky to figure out, but that could have been user error. Generally we walk on the ferry and spend a few days here. No need to bring a car, just enjoy the town and a getaway from driving!
