I highly suggest getting the bowl with high rice, half mixed greens along with your favorite protein. I chose pork and I wasnt disappointed. Service was fast and friendly. Cute atmosphere. Plenty of seating inside and out. Parking was a little challenging but there is the option to park across the way near Wells Fargo. I tried the Melon Mango Fizz and it was a perfect match with my pork. I definitely see how this place is a crowd pleaser. Don’t forget to sign up for the rewards program at the register because you will definitely be back again. I know I will.

After just two years in Chico, finding this sense of community has been invaluable. Were lucky enough to have a reserved Friday morning spot in Chris section. She knows everyone by name, celebrates every milestone, offers comfort during tough times, and somehow never lets a coffee cup go empty. Chris is the beating heart of this place. The early-riser breakfast is hands-down one of the best values in town, and Rosa absolutely slays in the kitchen! I once playfully teased her about how she cut my toast, and now she keeps a tape measure handy just to poke fun right back at me. I cant remember the last time I laughed so hard! Once you find your spot here, breakfast anywhere else wont feel the same.

Joe “JoeColor” Cash only restaurant - ATM on premises. We’re out of towners and a friend said this is a must go to spot. I really liked it here. The mimosas flight was huge and very good flavors. My coffee was picturesque! The pancakes I ordered were perfectly cooked as well. Our server was so sweet and patient as we are slow eaters and the restaurant was very busy. Definitely a place to check out.

Jarrod Riggins I started coming here a few months ago and I fell in love with the food, staff and atmosphere, great music and great vibes. . I’ve worked in restaurants and have overseen many of them for the last 25 years and still do, and let me tell you, they are spot on. I love it here!! Lauren is my favorite with how she sees the needs of the guests and is always in a great mood. Honestly, the whole staff is amazing, if I knew all their names I would say them all. This is my new favorite spot in town and I recommend this place over any other pub in town. I look forward to coming here and it makes my day. Great location, great happy hour and the best pub in Chico! Come visit them, you won’t regret it!!

The food is great, fast and not expensive. The waitresses do a fantastic job, and the manager is always coming around and making sure that your coffee and other drinks are full.

Maggie Anderson I found The Foodie Cafe while looking for places in the area that have monte cristo sandwiches, my moms favorite. We havent found any that dip the whole sandwich, but my mom said that The Foodie Cafes donut monte cristo was the best shes had of all of the monte cristos in Chico. She appreciated that there wasnt a weird sauce on it, like the one at Cheesecake Factory, and said that the donut gave it the same vibe as the whole thing being dipped in batter rather than just a sandwich on French toast. We both enjoyed the fresh fruit that came with our food.

My daughter goes to Chico State, and when I visit, this is our spot. Crush has become our mom-daughter date night go-to, and we’re never disappointed. The atmosphere is warm, the service is attentive, and the food is consistently delicious. The bruschetta is our absolute favorite — fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. Cheers!

Daniella Martinez First time here, and it did not disappoint! Definitely the best seafood you can find in Chico, and the staff is very welcoming. Absolutely amazing atmosphere feels very mom n pop/ 2000’s.We ordered the popcorn shrimp, alaskan cod and clam chowder, highly recommend trying all three. Batter is super crisp and nice and flaky inside on the cod. Not to mention their sourdough and butter is delicious. We will definitely be back !

John Horning Im once again "Happy" that Happy Gardens is once again available for in dining eating. I arrived on a Friday night, immediately seated, and knew exactly what I wanted. I ordered the Mongolian Beef, Lemon Chicken, Special Chow Mein, and the Sweet/Sour Prawns. No more than 10 minutes later my food arrived... and tasted like Heaven! The portions are STILL plentiful and extremely tasty, with the right amount of spices, sauces and meat/vegetables in each dish, leaving me thoroughly filled with extra for the next days lunch. Not much more can be said about how great this restaurant is. The service is crisp and attentive, prices are normal for an establishment like this, and not too crowded on Tues-Thu. Lunch specials can be found, and dinner specials for 2-3 people make this an absolute necessity for a date night. A piece of heaven I will continue to patronage for years to come.

Mary P Visited April 15th..see receipt. This location is in Chico and has indoor and outside seating. Stopped in for a late breakfast after shopping at the mall. I had the lighter breakfast with pancakes and 2 thick cut bacon slices and a scrambled egg. I really liked the bacon as it was crispy as ordered! Everything was good. My friend got Joes hobo omelete with a ton of crispy hash browns. It also came with a biscuit and for 99 cents more you get the gravy on top. Portion was huge and everything was really good! Plenty of leftovers! They serve beer and wine as well as mimosas. Its cutely decorated with bears. Waitresses were friendly and order came out quickly ( thanks Monique)! I would definitely come back when in Chico!
