James Korin Tried Louies in the 2nd for the first time last week and it was excellent. I sat at the bar had a nice Old Fashioned and a shot of Michters. Both were great. I was recommended the triple smash burger which was super flavorful. Im not a fan of messy burgers and this one fit the bill. Finished off my meal with the highly recommended carrot cake which is definitely shareable. Its not too sweet and was super most. Win win! Highly recommend this place.

Erin McGillen Close enough I can walk thank goodness because parking is always hard on or near 4th. But this place is great! The folks working here are always awesome, the food is always good, and the vibes are great! I love that they have fun seasonal options along with their classics.

Jen Sandoval This was our first time dining here, and it exceeded expectations. The gorgeous decorations transformed the space, and the staff, who were all dressed up, were exceptionally friendly and inviting. Even with a small wait (understandable, as it was the most popular spot on the block!), the experience was fantastic. The food and specialty drinks were delicious, and the live band kept the energy high. An absolutely fun, high-energy vibe—we loved it! Just be prepared for a premium bill; it was pricey, but we felt it was fair value for the special, immersive event and overall quality.

Robert Bojorquez Local eatery with an open and airy interior with shaded out door seating. Food was well executed. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the details. The gnocchi with shrimp was a standout. Friendly and informed staff made our experience truly wonderful. The salted caramel budino was super good and made by one of them! Even if youre full, order it, you wont regret it. We will be back soon. Before I forget: street parking only-get ready for a walk!

Catalina Gutierrez Food was delicious! Focaccia with anchovy dip was my fave although the carrots were a close second! We were walk ins and it almost seemed like they wouldn’t be able to seat us so probably best to make a res on the weekend. Other than that the service was on point and the open kitchen was nice to see the masters at work with such a confident demeanor! Highly recommend!

Yu Helen (Chestnut Journal) Wonderful Sunday brunch at Ubuntu. It was surely happening on a sunny morning. You have to line up for food first and then it is brought to you at the table. Lots of space for al fresco dining and the vibe is relaxed but boisterous. I had a simple scrambled eggs and it was well seasoned and filling too. My friends and I chatted away and spent a wonderful late morning catching up. The cheese puffs were especially good.

Christopher T Looking for some place for good breakfast and café. Saw this place so give it a try since it still needs (within 3months, I believed). First impression, cute and funky great vibe joint since they still have Halloween decor. Its a clean and spacious with plenty of bright light from outside since its on the corner and windows around it. They do have inside and patio seating. The breakfast menu is nice with plenty of selective. The foods are tasty, unique and with new concept of west meets east taste. The café choices are quite interesting, I got the Dubai espresso latte, and quite frankly, nice and smooth...just abit of sweet but lovely. Great service since I was the 1st one in so I got all the attention. The wait for the foods was long (12-15mins) but it just opens plus only one operates so they have to get things started so understandable. Definitely come back to try others for sure. They do have pizza and others for lunch and dinner so. Their baked goods look yummy, they just brought it out since they were baking in while I had my breakfast. Its an open kitchen so you can see the cooks preparing the foods. Prices wise, not bad at all.

Lotte Chittawattana I come to this Yard House pretty often, but tonight really stood out. I brought my mom here for Thanksgiving dinner, and even though the place was packed, I was impressed! Not just by how fast the food came out, but by the amazing service. I know the staff had a long, busy day, yet they never fail to deliver. Everyone was still friendly, smiling and welcoming just like always. I truly appreciate it. Thank you for making our night such a great one. I’ll definitely be back!

Tim Balen A perfect fine dining experience in Long Beach. Everything from the drinks and food, to the presentation and service, was immaculate. It is a small mid-century modern dining room in the former Century City Motel on 3rd Street in Long Beach, close to public parking. We enjoyed all the tastings, from the Crudo to the octopus to the bread with cultured butter, and the bass was also excellent. Another highlight was the Apple Tarte Tarin, which was divine with the Carmel and whipped cream. All the sauces and food tasted fresh and well-made. The prices are comparable to other date night and fine dining restaurants, so while high are expected and not out of the ordinary. There is also an outdoor seating area in the interior next to the pool, which is where the bathroom is (even the bathroom was kept very clean and we were pleased to see was also stocked with tampons). We would definitely go back and try some of the cocktails and mussels.

Tilly N. Fun, touristy spot with generous portions and plenty of shrimp dishes to choose from. The food was tasty and comforting, and the service was friendly and upbeat. The Forrest Gump theme adds to the atmosphere and makes the experience memorable. A nice place to stop by if you’re exploring the area.
