William Nessola My party of six has been in town for two weeks on business -- weve eaten out quite a bit in Victorville and Barstow. I picked this restaurant and it was awesome. Our large party was seated promptly with no wait time and our drink and appetizer orders promptly taken. The waitress was great - when we joked about getting bigger chip and salsa containers because we were famished and had emptied the first one so quickly, she quickly brought out a much larger size of both, much to the amusement of our party. The salsa was great, not too runny and very fresh and the chips were perfect and warm. The food came out and it was all good - there were several comments about how Miguels was the best restaurant wed dined at on our trip. I enjoyed the three item combo a lot. When the bill came, I thought there was some sort of mistake -- two beers, dinner and tax were so cheap, especially for California. We all left impressed and full!

Dyamond Ferrell Cosmos Taverna is hands down one of the best spots in Victorville! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels vibrant and welcoming—perfect for a night out with friends, date night, or even just to grab a bite and relax. The food is absolutely delicious! Everything comes out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The menu has great variety, and the portions are generous for the price. Drinks are always on point—well-crafted and served with great presentation. A big shoutout to our server Elexix—she was phenomenal! Super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect the entire night. Her energy and personality really made the experience even better. Between the amazing service, lively vibe, and consistently great food, Cosmos has definitely become one of my go-to spots in the High Desert. Highly recommend checking it out—you won’t be disappointed!

Carl Badeau First time at Cracker Barrel and it was great. The food was delicious and large portions. So much so, that we took half home. We also ordered two of their special to go home meals for $6.00 each. Our server was Lauren M and although she was busy, she made sure we got everything, checked on us several times, and was very informative when we asked for recommendations. We ordered their special Saturday only BBQ Ribs, chicken and dumplings, deep fried pickles as an app. Our sides were fried okra (delicious), steak fries, and cole slaw. All great! We were very surprised at how reasonable the bill was after everything we ordered. We then went shopping in the country store. A fun place to look around! We ended up buying a bunch of old time candy and some drinks. Again, at reasonable prices. Our salesperson was Michelle M. She got us enrolled in their rewards system for future visits and free apps. Thanks, Michelle! I wish they had locations closer to where we live, but we’ll take a drive there again.

Sam GondoubleZ Absolutely delicious. I personally do not like Birria but they made some birria tacos de Rez for me and they were amazing. I also ordered the #1, a full chicken with beans and rice with salsa and it meets and exceeds expectations. I loved the experience. Nice friendly hospitable staff. I will definitely be back. 5 stars *****

10.House of Joy Restaurant

euigoo kim Ive visited this place with my family several times now, but Im just getting around to writing a review. I was surprised and happy to see the name "Heungrae-gak," as its the same name as a restaurant I used to frequent in La Crescenta. Pulling into the parking lot, I was shocked again by the buildings exterior. It looked so old and run-down, almost like a movie set, that I wondered if it was even open. But when I opened the door, I was in for another surprise. Even during a weekday lunch, almost all the tables were full. The biggest surprises were the great taste, excellent value, and the fact that theyve added Korean dishes to the menu. That day, we ordered the Pork Bulgogi and Soft Tofu Stew (Sundubu). While it wasnt exactly like the food in LAs Koreatown, it was still incredibly delicious. The sweet and sour pork (tangsuyuk) here is especially good. Im a "dip it" person (찍먹), and its perfect that way. Highly recommend!

Saige Staley Corner cafe is a hidden gem in the HD! Kathy was our server and she was quick, kind, and so sweet. Our food was amazing. The chilaquiles were delicious. I got the strawberry citrus crepes which were the perfect balance of sweet and lemon-y. The thai iced coffee is brewed in house and is sweet and strong. Amazing!

12.California Classic Cafe

Address: 14196 Amargosa Rd STE A, Victorville, CA 92392

Cristian Gonzalez This place is amazing, though small, it had a lot of heart. It is the quintessential small town American diner. Where the staff great their regulars by name. Where everything is made fresh. With plenty of open seats, old music and Highway 66 decor, this place feels like an escape where you can find yourself chatting up a local about some novel thing happening around the world. The food was great. Plenty of options you’d expect. Made fresh but quickly. It is all well proportioned well seasoned. I had the country fried steak and eggs with a biscuit and gravy. It was crisp, it was meaty, the gravy was creamy, my eggs were perfect and the biscuits was soft and fluffy. And I never once needed to ask to have my coffee refilled. I can’t recommend this place enough.
