1.Holey Bagels & Asian Market

Address: 2193 S State St, Ukiah, CA 95482

Anne Margaret White Zany, unique take on a bagel shop! Loved all the Asian grocery and snack items. The selection of bagel sandwiches was so creative - hot cheetos with cream cheese anyone? Big selection of donuts, boba drinks, and savory lunch options. We came for the croffle (croissant waffle) which was sadly absent from the menu, but hopefully it will return!

Tammie Spence My husband is extremely pucky. There was only 1 place in Ukiah that my husband wanted to go again, now thankfully there are 2!!! The hostess greeted us when we walked in, then quickly finished ringing up the customer she was already helping, then seated us. Our waitress was there in 2 shakes of a lambs tail. Friendl, fast, and efficient. The menu has lots of choices! Breakfasts, burgers, salads, soup, steaks, seafood, pasta, Mexican, comfortable food, Scrimshaw & other beers, mimosas, sodas, coffee, ect., and deserts, milkshakes...theres something for everyone! My grilled shrimp salad was great! My husbands burger and coleslaw was great! Our waitress was paying attention to every customer, checkingvon all of us, she even remembered who ordered what (you hardly see that kind of serve anymore). She was great! My husband didnt have any complaints at all! We definitely will be eating there more offen.

3.Slam Dunk Pizza

Address: 720 N State St, Ukiah, CA 95482

McCabe Huntley This reminded me of the pizza joints like I had growing up. Sure the building could use some love but it adds to the authentic vibe. The guy at the front desk is great. Super energetic and really seemed to care about the spot he worked at. If I was the owner I would never let that guy leave, he adds a lot of value to the customer experience, that’s the type of employee I need working for me…the pies are great and creative, the art on the underside of boxes is top notch. Hope to see them expand south a bit towards my neck of the woods, they would kill it!

4.Royal Tea Boba & Sandwiches

Address: 1296 N State St B, Ukiah, CA 95482

David Post Really delicious food at reasonable prices. I got the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce and the lemongrass chicken rice bowl. Both the portion sizes were pretty big. It was enough food for two people for sure for $25 including tax and tip. The women running it are just great. I recommend coming by. And the service was fast also.

5.Asian Grand Buffet

Address: 251 S Orchard Ave, Ukiah, CA 95482

Marc A. Tager Asia Grand Buffet, Ukiah delivers exactly what you hope for in a bustling, family-friendly buffet: huge variety, fast refills, and surprisingly tasty food. You’ll find a solid lineup of Chinese-American classics like sweet-and-sour chicken, Mongolian beef, egg rolls alongside sushi rolls, a salad bar, shrimp, and even a few unexpected gems like dim sum bites and even ice cream. The buffet trays are kept warm and replenished often, especially during peak hours, and the service is friendly but unobtrusive. The dining room itself is spacious, though a bit dated, and the atmosphere leans toward a practical elegance but hey. There are very few places you can eat for $14.95 let alone get full. It’s a great value, especially for big eaters or groups looking to sample a little bit of everything. They also do take out for $6.99 a pound. It is satisfying, filling, and fun! I will absolutely be back.

6.Ellies Mutt Hut

Address: 732 S State St, Ukiah, CA 95482

(791) user ratings total:

Jesus Galaz-Montoya Delicious chilaquiles, average french toast. I was about to give this a bad rating when I noticed breakfast was supposedly only served until 11 (I detest it when restaurants have a random cutoff to stop serving certain dishes; seriously, WHY?), but whee waiters were super friendly and accommodating and still took our order for chilaquiles and french toast even though it was after mid day. This fact alone is principally responsible for my 5 star rating! :-)

7.The Food Depot

Ed Marmon This place is absolutely amazing. From the food to the service both great experiences. The burgers are amazing and nothing like fast food. They definitely use quality real ingredients. The burgers, tacos and my friend even tried the nachos everything was very good. Ive never had anything that wasnt good from this place. One thing I would HIGHLY recommended is the drinks they make on site daily. Its absolutely amazing especially on on hot summers day. They make there own drinks the cumumber/lime, hibiscus tea, watermelon juice, and I dont remember the other flavor. They give samples and you pick the drink you like. Hope this helps. There very nice and helpful people.

Josh Funke This place is a gem. Great service thanks Travis B, simple old school bar/restaurant that has a ton of great options. Bison burger was cooked perfectly. The shrimp wrap was delicious and having these shrimp options shows they get their food from the source. Upgraded to the beer battered fries and ate every single one of them. Good cocktails, cold beer.
