Darlene I’ve always loved CAVA, but a bad experience at another location (salty, watery, and poorly made food made with hate) and it almost ruined it for me. Thankfully, the University Road CAVA completely turned that around :’) The food here is always fresh, delicious, and clearly made with love—especially when Bella is there. She’s the absolute best and always takes extra care of my order. The service is kind, welcoming, and truly above and beyond. This is the only CAVA I trust now, and every meal reminds me why I fell in love with it in the first place! (image of what happens when food is made with love vs hate)

Greisy Aguilar The food was amazing! We had the chicken and lamb bowl, some wings, fries, and pita bread. The owner was very friendly and he gave us some Baklava to try; it was delicious!!! This was our first time trying Arabic food, and we will definitely come back when visiting Gainesville, FL.

Katherine M Blue Gill - Sleek Ambiance and Standout Food Options ​Blue Gill offers a truly excellent dining experience, pairing a stylish atmosphere with top-notch food and service. The ambiance is definitely a highlight—its modern and sleek. While we dined indoors, we noticed they also offer outdoor seating, which is a wonderful option to have. And while we arent drinkers, the upscale bar area added a polished, elevated feel to the whole restaurant. ​The Appetizer and Mains ​We started with the Gulf Shrimp Cocktail, and it immediately set a high bar for the meal. The shrimp were very large and cooked absolutely perfectly, and the cocktail sauce was just as good as youd find anywhere. ​For the main course, my husband ordered the Salmon. It was served beautifully with risotto and green beans and carrots, and topped with a savory butter sauce. The dish was extremely savory and delicious—I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. ​I had the Shrimp Poboy, which was way better than expected. The key was the bread, which was soft and didnt overpower the delicious blackened shrimp and toppings. I also swapped the traditional chips for a side salad, which was a great choice; the Caesar base was elevated with pickled onions that added a bright, pleasant "twang" to the greens. I would happily get this dish again. ​Exceptional Service and Policy Note ​The quality of our service was exceptional, thanks to our server, Hannah. She was extremely friendly, professional, and patient, taking the time to answer all of our questions about the menu. We truly appreciated the level of detail and care she provided. ​As a final note, the restaurant does add a 12% fee to all bills. We felt this transparency likely contributes to the service being above par compared to other places. However, we did not feel this replaced the tip, and we gladly tipped Hannah additionally due to the overall quality of the service and our excellent experience.

Jessica S. This place is so good. We were in Gainesville for a long weekend and ended up coming back 3 times. The açaí bowls are delicious. I got the raining berries bowl every time. My husband had the protein smoothie and said it was delicious as well. They have so many healthy options. We are excited to come back the next time we are in Gainesville!

Christa Hammond Little sports bar theme I would call it, food was fresh, fast, tasted legitimate "fresh", fries were so good, coleslaw was okay, Im not much of a coleslaw fan though. We went during the Christmas story theme and I thought it was so cute!

Bean Bean Great service from Josh, very attentive, helpful explaining menu, food served quickly, fairly generous portion sizes, nice balanced flavor, nothing was too sweet or salty. We got japchae and paduk chicken. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the sauces but the chicken itself was excellent with a great crispy fry without being oily and tasty flavoring without being super salty

Ernesto Villarini This is my second time here. Both times I’ve had quality food and drinks. Today the guacamole was great, as was the sangria. The quesadilla was definitely above average although the cheese they use is not my personal favorite. The star is very courteous and service is fast for a joint that handles both to go orders and dining in. The place is comfortable with soundtrack full of classics. Muñecas is a notch above other Mexican favorites in Gainesville and it contributes very nicely to the 4th avenue food park experience.

Derryk Wheeler The staff was exceptional, especially our bartender. The food was spectacular, we had late night menu crepes. The crepe menu starts after 10pm, and they were perfect. The cocktails were perfect as well. Thanks Alpin Bistro! We went earlier this time, drinks were great, quiche was awesome, the brie app was very good. The chorizo brandy app was okay and the croque-saumon was okay as well.

Nick TV One of my favorite spots in Gainesville. Its a healthier and tastier version of Chipotle with a wider range of flavors. Highly recommended
