Zach Meyer What a hidden gem! This place was crazy good! Never in a million years did I think I would get a EXCELLENT seafood boil in Bloomington Illinois but here we are! Perfect balance of heat and pronounced Cajun flavors and spices. Their egg in all the seasoning is my new favorite way to consume an egg. Will absolutely be back anytime time I’m close to town. The service was also really awesome! Only a couple people working at the time. Both guys were super friendly. Helped walk me through the menu as a first timer. Top to bottom one of my best dining experiences in a while. Prices were very fair as well! I treated myself a bit more than a normal lunch but right place to do it at!

Cara Nelson The wait staff is always friendly. The food is amazing - never had a bad meal there! The pizza is awesome and can be ordered any time of day. I ordered one at breakfast to take home for lunch. There is always a wait for a table on weekends - this goes to show you how great of spot it is!!

Susan Pfordresher Beautiful historical building with a warm and inviting atmosphere. We had the Twisted Turkey and the Ruben sandwiches were both excellent! The service was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

jar spencer I was looking for a good Reuben, and Google recommended this place - that doesnt even have it on the menu. BUT - Im so glad I checked it out! The menu wasnt too varied (and included pictures for most items) and selections available were great! The garlic cheddar bites came with in-house made ranch. Its the Good Ranch. The meat comes from a local butcher and you can tell. Oh sweet ham, you can tell! I cant wait to go back and try their pizza!

OESTERREICH SAM (Oesfreelancing) Modern, unique, friendly, professional. These adjectives are SPOT ON! Im sure there are plenty more than can be included. These are just some right off the top of my head that I experienced during my brunch visit on November 16, 2025. . It was busy at around 9:15 Saturday morning. My wait was at least 25 minutes for a party of one. The kind hostess suggested a seat at the bar if I didnt want to wait that long. I took the seat at the bar! While there I chatted it up with other customers. We had pleasure conversations about Egg Republic in general, the owner, who was on site, and the staff. The owners rapport with his staff was wonderful to see. . Emma, the mixologist made me the most beautiful mimosa I ever saw! It was the Rose Xplosion mimosa. It was so unique from any other mimosa I ever had. It was made with a pack of Pop Rocks! I took a good picture of this beautiful masterpiece of a mimosa. I opted for the Avocado tast with two perfectly poached eggs on top. The meal was delicious. The mimosa was sexy. And the service was A+ service. . You should definately hit up Egg Republic for a fun brunch experience. You may have a bit if a wait but it will be worth it. . Cheers!

Eric Grundeman Amazing Food and atmosphere! Kind of a dive but in a great way! Our waitress was amazing and quick! Had 4 regular diners and a GFree person(me)! I would say 90 of the menu could be gf...dedicated fryers and gf bun plus gf chicken tenders! The wings were great.. sauces too! I had the special Frisco melt on gf bun...another had the brisket sando and another had the bbq combo. All really great! The only think not ready were the ribs and that was our fault for going at 11am! Cant wait to go back .. tomorrow!

Sergio Montalvo Wanted some wings and a beer on a Saturday night and after some research I found this place to have good reviews on wings. Stopped by and it definitely lived up to its expectations. Fried pickle spears and wings were both 10/10, will definitely be back!

Matthew Hoover Came here for a quick bite while we were in the area the only issue what so ever was the parking. If it was packed it would be hard to find parking but other than that it was an amazing experience. Theres an inside and an outside. The inside is a nice bar and outside there is two patios one with high tables and the other had short picnic tables with two tvs. They even had a corn hole set up. There was also a fan outside which I thought was a nice touch. The outside looks like a cool old tavern. The food was good priced best eleven dollars Ive ever spent on a burger meal. Best burger Ive had in a long time. It was fresh juicy and absolutely delicious I got the double cheeseburger and fries the fries are amazing. They were really crunchy but not hard a perfect in-between.I swear this was one of if not the best bar and grill restaurants Ive ever been too. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and inviting. Everyone was super friendly the service was perfect we had three burgers and got it in ten to fifteen minutes. I felt like I was at home with friends. If your in the area this is definitely the best bar to stop in town for a calm night and good food. The jack and coke was well mixed and everyone in the area feels like a community very nice people.

Haley Blair This place was the BEST! Theres a reason its so highly rated, the crust is incredible! I ate every bit of the 8inch and my stomach didnt even hurt after. I hadnt even left & I was ready to go back again. My 6yr old that doesnt eat crust, actually ate the crust here (a first!). Its amazing how many times Ive been where it was and hadnt even noticed it there. The worker was so helpful as well, we had great service! We will certainly be back!

Tina Olszewski What a find!! Absolutely a good old fashioned Mom and Pop diner. No frills, just good food at an even better price. Shockingly reasonable prices to be exact. The service was top notch!! The waitresses knew all the locals by name and were so friendly and attentive. I had one of the best Reuben sandwiches I’ve ever had and the onion rings were the best! I can’t recommend this little gem more!!!

Jared Gahm First time having breakfast here and it was delicious. I had the breakfast burrito and my fiance had an omelette. Both out first visit. We are opening are businesses here and wanted to try the food since it’s walking distance. We will absolutely be back to try the lunch and dinner. Very happy with what we saw the first visit.

Becca This easily became one of my favorite restaurants in Bloomington today; amazing food, service, and friendly staff. The restaurant was very clean and all the food was fresh. The service was amazing and I was offered samples of the variety of toppings/sauces they have to offer. The staff was very kind and I look forward to going back. Also, the Dubai chocolate is delicious!
