Claudia Braz de Oliveira Decent food for the price ($16 per person). The environment is kind of stuffy, feels like furniture and the floors have not been upgraded since the 70s. But if youre really hungry and dont want to pay a lot it might be worth it. Also they dont label anything which is a huge con in my opinion. Would be great if I knew what each option was.

Rosanne Machann Love this place! Its such a gem! The food is delicious, and the drinks are personally crafted. I love that I can enjoy a beautifully curated beverage even if I dont include the alcohol! Their menu is packed with flavor and my husband, who knows his way around a kitchen, is happy to eat items here he might make at home himself. The rosemary garlic butter on the steak is amazing! Get yourself some.

tommy leach Love the food here. It is always so fresh. Hot when its supposed to be hot and cold when its supposed to be cold. The guacamole is awesome, along with the cheese dip and just regular table salsa. The girls that work the tables are so sweet and kind. Highly recommend!

Glenna Gallagher We’ve been to the Burnet location a few times. Consistently good food. Pizza is crisp and delicious and salads are fresh and yummy. We live in Bertram but prefer the Burnet location. We used to go to the Bertram location but it’s not as good as it was a few years ago. Pizza is soggy and floppy even when you ask for crispy crust. Quality has definitely gone down at that location.

Math-yugh Hands down the best fast-food type fried chicken place around. Excellent tenders, fries, corn nuggets, mashed potatoes & gravy, and even tea. Very clean dining room, kitchen, restroom, patio, and parking lot. If there were one in the Killeen/Cove/Heights area, I would be there 3-4 times a week

Jessica Jones Staying at Canyon of the Eagles this weekend (great place) and my husband saw this place on Google. I’m always down for bbq - walking up, my mouth started watering because the smells were **amazing** Simple seating with picnic tables and awnings The owner and friend were jovial and friendly The food… hands down, best Bar-B-Que I’ve had since we came to Texas. Flat out. The sauces were amazing The “beans on the house” were the ‘stick to your ribs, meaty’ type The pulled pork sandwich had layers of flavor, the meat moist and delicious. Then the ribs fell off the bones and we were blown away by their texture and (can I use flavor again??). The sauces were the best I’ve had from the Carolina’s through Tennessee and Mississippi to Texas. We actually talked him out of a bottle! (Made my husband so happy!!) Definitely worth a stop, but come at 11! They cook Friday through Saturday morning and, once they sell out, they’re done. (Usually by 1:00pm, says Randy).

BR Love this place. Definitely on my “go to” and “favorites” list. The staff is great, customer focused and very personal. The atmosphere is quiet and provides a great setting for 1 to 1 meetings and remote meetings. I am grateful we have a small town coffee house to go to and enjoy.

Jordan Caskey First time trying this place I got two quesa birria tacos they were delicious and my bf got two lunch tacos beef fajita meat with cheese they were also very good! Service was great and we got a free Mexican coke since it was our first time! Definitely will be coming back! Yum!!

Lenora Langley It is so amazing to have such a wonderful restaurant here in Burnet!! The curry dishes, appetizers and naan are amazing!! The foods are so full of flavor. That is what we have tried so far. We will be very regular customers.

Shelley Wagner This was a great place for perfect ribs! Opens at 10:30. Closes when sold out. We were there at 1:10pm and they still HD ribs and brisket. Great atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating. Dog and kid friendly.

Dylan Medford This place is hidden gem. Went right before closing on my way to the lake and got a smoked half chicken. It was the best chicken I’ve ever had- juicy with an incredible smoky flavor. I then went back the next afternoon on the way home and got the 2 meat plate with chicken and brisket, double beans, and an order of the banana pudding. The chicken was just as incredible, the brisket was amazing- super juicy and flavorful, the beans were to die for, and the banana pudding was maybe the best I’ve ever had. You NEED to stop and try it if you are in the area. Very fair prices, terrific food, and a great man running the place.
