Gigi The food was super yummy! We came in with little expectations but came out feeling nice and full! I loved the tomato vegetable soup, it was very earthy and savoury! Amindha Fernando Look, its a taco food truck. With all the accolades of this place we went in with high expectations and they delivered. Got the carnitas, al pastor and carne asada tacos. They were excellent. My partner got the chicken and cheese burrito which she also said was great. The rice and beans on the other hand was just okay. Not standout great but just what youd expect. All in all, worth visiting.

Raymond Riker Visiting Yosemite for a few dayz and on the way back, discovered Miners Roadhouse 140. Did some research looking for Biscuits and Gravy AND French Toast. On point. The nostalgic Sunday Brunch Destination was on full display. Family Atmosphere with even better customer service. Breakfast Burrito was amazing. Breakfast Buffet Bar (I believe Sunday Only).was fully loaded with all the Breakfast Essentials. And of course..... Biscuits and Gravy was amazing. Discovered the Sports Bar Section as we were leaving. That part of the restaurant looked incredible as well. All Future Guest.... Please let me know how amazing that side is once you stop by. Perfect place to stop for Breakfast or Lunch on your way to or from Yosemite National Park. 5 out of 5 Stars.... HIGHLY RECOMMEND @Uncle_Bonez

A Google User We had a great experience at Castillo’s Mexican Restaurant in Mariposa. The place has a welcoming, family-style atmosphere and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. We ordered the shredded beef burrito and the chimichanga, both were excellent! The shredded beef was tender and flavorful. The chimichanga was perfectly crispy on the outside and full of flavor inside. Everything tasted freshly made, and the portions were generous. Service was fast and attentive, and prices were reasonable for the quality and portion size. Overall, a great spot if you’re craving authentic Mexican food in Mariposa. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in town!

Sebastian Garcia Very grungy bar, but it delivered. Great old fashioned. Great beer. The food portions were big! Its a very home in the wall bar, under another restaurant. Just like another diner down the street, we did wait a bit for our food, but overall worth it!

Megan Lucas I visit this place every time I come to Mariposa. Sometimes multiple times in the same trip. The food is amazing and the staff is so friendly. Kim is so kind to us! We are only here for the holidays and she remembers us. The ramen is the best ramen I’ve had in the west coast. Must try. Add as many eggs as you like!!

Emily Runey what a fantastic stop! we looked at the photos and knew this would be authentic home cooking and it sure was! As a South Carolina native, I was skeptical about grits in California but they were incredible and cheesy! After our meal, we had the opportunity to speak to the owner about recommendations in the area for things to do and he shared some fun stories from his years of owning the cafe and living in the area. Would 100% recommend a stop in.

Fabian We arrived at a large parking lot with the sun blasting from the sky. The only noise was the slow humming of cars passing by behind us. No person was to be seen, in what was a peak American moment. With the American flag waving across from us, we entered the establishment and were greeted by cold and agreeable AC chilled air. With a friendly nod we were shown to a table. It was 1.30pm on a Sunday, and there were 4 tables occupied. By the door, there was an elderly lady eating with what might be a grand child. In the center of the room, a large group congregated around a big round table (typically Chinese restaurant like, if I may add), with a rotating center. This center is meant for aharing food, but this group was each having their own meal, no center food to be seen. And finally, a group of 4 having a quite discussion We ordered the Tofu dishes, the waiter was brisk but efficient. As a side we got the fried rice, with vegetables, highly recommended. Our waters were brought out by a Chinese boy, the waters with plenty of ice, and fresh taste. While waiting for the food we got to appreciate theinterior design, clearly Yosamite themed with many studfed animals, and pictures of scenery. Overall a cozy and calm vibe, where we felt at ease The food was splendid, well seasoned, and plenty. So much in fact we were able to take almost a full additional meal home with us. We recommend this place warmly, specially for vegans.
