Linlin Chen Best Chinese bento box in the bay!! Very authentic north eastern Chinese food and very fresh, only $15.99 for three dishes, come with option for white rice, fried rice, or steam veggies. We come here at least once a week now. The portion is incredible! No more Panda Express for us :D

J.E. Clerkin Came in for lunch and the food was delicious. Service was great. We especially enjoyed the chazuke with salmon, served with a pourable broth. The dish had a lovely smoky quality, balanced by the crispy rice for contrast. The beef tongue steak and chicken wings were also highlights. Since our old tapas location changed ownership and menu, this is the new one. Definitely recommended.

Keltner Micahl The food was done really well. Fries were crispy and cooked better than most places Ive had! The fried wings were cooked to perfection and the skin was crispy, trapping in the right amount of moisture in the meat. Prices were excellent too plus you can enjoy a nice round of golf after getting filled up on great food.

Sayan Brahma Its inside Dennis. The bread felt stale and something had a bitter after taste. The fried chicken with Nashville sauce was good. Absolutely overpriced!

5.ROKKO Japanese Restaurant

Monica Great place to get Japanese food. We managed to get a last minute reservation for 5 on a Saturday evening so that was great. I love how many options they have. They have every Japanese dish I love. I got the Deluxe Meshi which had everything I love about Japanese rice bowls: It has salmon, eel, AND fish eggs. We also got the Yakiniku Don (grilled beef rice bowl), Chicken Nanban (basically chicken Karaage with a different sauce), and Agedashi Tofu. And the food was delicious. The portions for the rice bowls were also bigger than I expected so they were very filling. Service was good. I didn’t feel like we waited too long for our food. We also came rather close to closing but they still let us order, so I appreciate that. And when the store was closing, they politely made it known to us. The inside feels like a typical Japanese restaurant with black seats and dark wood. We sat in a booth which fit all 5 of us comfortably

6.Country Gourmet

Address: 1314 S Mary Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94087

Fernando Abdala I ordered the regular combo breakfast. Eggs were fine, link sausage was good, better than the average you can get in other places. The potatoes had too much black pepper (why is this obsession about adding a bunch of black peppers to the country side potatoes??), it’s a shame because they were too greasy. I might come back but it didn’t blew my mind. I like the atmosphere, there is a lot of space, very family oriented. Service was good. If you are looking into breakfast places to try this could be an option but try to go with no expectations and it might be a good fit to you. 4 stars but I would put a 3 if it was only about the food. Caveat: I like food that is more on the balanced side, I understand a lot of people putting a bunch of dressing but I do believe they are missing out. There is so much to enjoy about having the right meal with the perfect seasoning

7.SAJJ Mediterranean (Sunnyvale)

Address: 145 S Frances St, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Jacob Scwartz I ordered both a chicken wrap and the pomegranate chicken served with couscous. While the standard chicken in the wrap was ok, the pomegranate chicken was the absolute star of the meal: it was truly phenomenal and packed with incredible flavor. The restaurant itself has a really nice atmosphere that makes for a pleasant dining experience. I was particularly impressed by how clean the entire space was, from the dining area to the service counter, which is always something I appreciate. The service was also remarkably quick, and given the generous portion sizes, the price point is very reasonable for the quality you receive. Regarding the food, I did notice that the wrap itself was a tiny bit on the stale side, but the other ingredients inside were incredibly fresh and delicious, which made up for it. I was also given a lentil soup that was quite tasty, though it was a little overseasoned with cumin for my taste. If you go, I highly recommend adding the eggplant ragout and the cilantro chutney to your order. Overall, this is a great spot for a fresh, filling lunch or dinner, and I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

8.Robertos Cantina

Raghu Chandrasekaran Really like their vegetarian selection. We ordered the nachos, the veggie burrito, and the combination plate with two enchiladas. All dishes had a variety of veggies in them — carrots, broccoli, etc, instead of just cheese or bell peppers alone. The spicy salsas were given on the side; small kids were able to handle the baseline spice level of the food. Attentive staff and well lit casual space make it a fun lunch spot.

Lila S Food: Absolutely delicious! Every dish was bursting with authentic Nepali and Indian flavors. The momo dumplings were perfectly steamed and packed with flavor, and the sauce was yummy! the butter chicken was rich, creamy, and well-balanced. You can tell everything is made fresh with quality ingredients. The portions are generous too — definitely worth every bite! Vibe: Cozy, clean, and welcoming. perfect for both a casual dinner or a relaxed date night. The decor is simple yet charming, with a peaceful ambiance. We arrived for late lunch and was t busy at all. Service: The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about your experience. Our server took the time to explain the dishes and made great recommendations. Food came out quickly, and they checked in just the right amount. Highly recommend Gurka Kitchen to anyone looking for authentic flavors, great service, and a comfortable dining experience in Sunnyvale!

Swati Chaudhuri This is such surprisingly good Greek food! The xoriatiki salata is almost perfect except the feta could have been better but for the price it is incredible value. The chicken souvlaki and keftedes are yummy! I have traveled to Greece countless times and eaten all over the country. This is very authentic Greek food prepared without diluting it to American tastes. Loved the spread sampler (especially tzatziki). The only thing that falls flat is the skordalia but that ones kinda tricky to pull off anyway.

Rey Roa Went here for the first time and was surprised with the number of options. I ordered the plain popcorn chicken, milk fish sisig-silogand jasmine milk tea with 50% sweetness. The popcorn chicken was crispy and juicy. I should have tried some flavor option. The sisig was very flavorful. Other places have small fish bones and/or scales on their but not here. I was able to enjoy every bite and it went well with the fried rice. The egg was well done and the yolk tasted hard boiled which was strangely satisfying. The milk tea came with rainbow jelly and was tasty with just the right amount of sweetness IMO. I look forward to trying the other dishes in the near future. If you like Filipino food or want to try, I highly recommend giving this place a shot.
