Arthur Nguyen 30 minute wait time around 10 am but well worth it. Service was fast and got all of our food within 10 minutes. Food came out hot and fresh and the Our West Burrito for 11 dollars is hard to beat. Hot, fresh, cheesy devilishness. The biscuits and gravy were also a steal. tons of food for $8. Very generous portions and delicious definitely must try if you’re in the area.

Gina Hinds, REALTOR This is one of my favorite hidden gems in Watsonville that I have been going to for many years. They have recently gone through a full facelift with expansion and beautiful decorations, streamlining the ordering process and still keeping the prices low.

Andy Salmon Cilantro was a nice surprise. Unique flavored foods that are a little different than what you would usually get at a Mexican restaurant, !and I liked it. The server was great, and the atmosphere seemed upscale casual. Prices were average. Ill be back

5.Fruition Brewing and Kitchen

Address: 918 E Lake Ave, Watsonville, CA 95076

BJ Lillo Tasty beers with a great variety of in-house beers and some guest ciders and wines. The sour “snack” series ones we had were particularly popular around the table. Nice outdoor dining area. Heard some enjoyable live folk music while we were there. Service was great, food was pretty solid too even though half the menu was sold out (we were there just before closing on a Sunday evening.) Dog-friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.

ryan mosher Found out this place was here from a full page advertisement they sent in the mail. My wife and I ordered for pickup. It was a little confusing to find. You have to drive down the back alley of the business shopping center in order to find it. You pick up at what would be a back door to a kitchen. We ordered a vindaloo lamb wrap, chicken tikka masala with rice, 2 samosas and 2 garlic naans. Their rose lemonade was fantastic as well! The food was great, my wife and I enjoyed it! We will definitely be coming back :)

Adam Pelayo Gaby’s restaurant is exceptional local small business food. The food is delicious and tasty. The prices are very affordable and reasonable, the sizes are big, Gaby and her family hook the community up big time and that is a win for all. Wait time is fast. This is a must stop if you love Mexican food.

8.tacos al fuego

Glenn Reynolds Four of us dropped in for dinner and it exceeded expectations. This is small counter service Mexican. The tortillas are home made and worth the trip for them alone. In a region awash in mediocre Mexican this place becomes a shinning star. The shrimp taco was the best I have ever had. The sauces really kick the flavor up. We had a great meal and will be back.

Xavier Sanchez Wow. Just wow. Service was above 10/10 Hands down the best experience I’ve had within a 30 mile radius. I travel a lot throughout California and this place stands above others by a large margin. First let’s begin with the entrance. Very homey, the art on the wall simple and nice, the style is great, nice bonsai decor. Noise level was low. As soon as I walked in I was seated, offered multiple tables. Once seated I was asked for my drink per usual but got it within 2 minutes. I couldn’t decide on what to order. And took recommendations instead, I got the Karaage chicken appetizer & Kati roll. I was asked if I needed anything multiple times and checked on multiple times, the perfect amount not too many and not while I was chewing. The waiters were very tentative only asked if looked around or wasn’t eating. The chicken was great and smelled similar to Oaxaca Mole. But tasted unique like a spicy orange chicken. Not very hot IMO but very flavorful spice level probably a 5/10 heat for an average person. The Kari roll was loaded, and the pricing compared to restaurants in San Jose were fairly less, about $9-$15. My only regret was eating breakfast.

Elibeth v Taco were delicious! I’m not a fan of pastor but locals recommend it and it was delicious. $13 for 4 tacos , good size too and handmade tortilla. You do have to ask for the salsa because they don’t add it. I’ll definitely be going back

Brandon Baker Im not sure about service or atmosphere since my boss bought the pizza, but the pizza was awesome. Tons of toppings like a pizza should be. A little steep on price, but you did get a lot. Picture doesnt do it justice, this was after we picked it up and took it back to the hotel. I ended up eating the second half for breakfast.
