Paul Glendinning I cant bring myself to give a fast food place five stars, so my ceiling is four. In recent years, ive moved from J. in the B. to Carls Jr as my first go-to fast food restaurant because it seems Carls has put in the work to improve their menu and their food quality. The store in Clearlake across from the new Starbucks particularly. I like their burgers and the buns seem full and fresh along with plenty of lettuce tomato onion & pickle. It all starts with a good quality bun as the first thing that hits your mouth. But the real proof of the quality is the meat, of course. They moved to a better quality beef and I dont feel sick after eating them like I do at Macs. One hot summer day I walked in and on the counter was a big red bin full of ice and genuine Coco Cola in the glass bottles. It took a bottle opener to open them. Someone remembered how good it used to be and took the time to recreate that feeling. I was surprised at the changes that Carls Jr has made and have had some good meals since I discovered this.

Layer2chains This is the best pizza spot in all of clear lake. The service is friendly and they dont forget about you. The prices are fair and they usually have a great deal. I like the lunch specials. The pizzas are really good they add a nice amount of toppings. Plus they dont skimp out on the sauce! The cheese is delicious also! I recommend this place to anyone visiting the clear lake area!

Joyce Eid We thought we would try this place out. We had no expectations, and it was fantastic! Definitely worth going to and I will most definitely go back!

Mike M This has been our “go-to” restaurant for Mexican cuisine since they opened for business! The food is always good… great portions, awesome flavor, and prepared and cooked with pride, authenticity and delicious! The prices are reasonable and the menu selection is plentiful! I believe this is primarily operated by the family, so you’re not getting anything out on your table that is simply microwaved! That being said, be prepared for a little longer wait compared to other “commercialized” or “chain” Mexican restaurant. I promise though, you will be very pleased with your order!

Mic C I wish I had taken a picture of my food. The portion was substantial. I had the sesame chicken lunch special with chow mein. It was so delicious! Nice and crispy. The waitress is so nice.

syd came in from oakland after a camping and mountain biking trip up on snow mountain absolutely starving and knew we were in the right place when we saw all the locals. was shocked with the high quality of the food! the chicken on my trejos chicken sandwich was soooo juicy and my partner said it was the best diner omelette she’s ever had! and we go to a lot of diners. 10/10 loved it

Abby Marchacos It was open at 9pm when nothing else was. It served its purpose. The take out cashier was so sweet and very patient with my tired brain.

Brandie Berry This Jack in the box has to be be one of the best .The workers here have paid for homeless peoples meal out of their own pockets.They have shown kindness towards the less fortunate in multitudes. The business itself has wonderful food. Affordable prices, speedy service, & the most friendly, kind, compassionate people I have seen in a long time !! Keep up the amazing job showing compassion, and being great human beings.
