Jeremy Cowin We’re visiting family in Red Bluff and spending time at all of our favorite spots, so it probably feels like I’m leaving a lot of five-star reviews—but this one is well deserved. Carlitos is hands-down our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. We especially loved the Christmas decorations this time around. The food is excellent, but honestly, the service might be even better. Drinks were never empty, refills showed up before we had to ask, and the staff was incredibly attentive the entire meal. One moment that really stood out: our grandchild finished coloring on his kids menu, and out of nowhere one of the staff members showed up with a fresh coloring sheet and new crayons. No request, no delay—just thoughtful, friendly service. The staff here is always welcoming, observant, and genuinely kind, and that consistency keeps us coming back. The only downside is the parking lot—it’s a bit rough—but that’s not their fault and absolutely shouldn’t stop anyone from eating here. If you’re looking for the best Mexican restaurant in town, Carlitos is it.

Tiphanie Ng. Dog friendly Restaurant. Was able to bring our dog in. she is well trained and just lays down under the table. the server was very attentive and friendly.

Jessica Ault Great place for pizza! A lot of options and sizes to choose from. Simply order at the counter and then grab a table and wait. Our pizza was hot and delicious. Kids got pasta and they rated them 9/10.

S O There was only one server for at least 12 tables. She did amazing. The food was great. The drinks were awesome. The atmosphere is a relaxing vibe. The bathrooms were clean.

Jessica Hughes This place is amazing. The artwork, the service, the smell is so good, the setup is just downright fun. I purchased several hot sauces and am incredibly excited to try them, such a huge selection. Highly recommend.

mondo kunz First time at this Bartels in red bluff. Nice cool little spot ,same killer burgers but cool atmosphere/decor and they have beers .

Melissa Christine Corriea We really enjoyed our experience. The portions were quite large. The food was super yummy. Everything tasted like it was a family recipe that had been passed down. The waitresses were very attentive to us both making sure our needs were met but not being intrusive. We loved the decor. There were family pictures on the walls and hand painted murals. Definitely a nice dining experience.

Patty Wincek Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon while traveling. We ordered a bottle of their Chardonnay, the Margarita Pizza and Caprese bruschetta. Everything was wonderful. We sat on their covered patio area, so we could have our dogs join us. The wine was great, the pizza outstanding grilled on their wood-fired oven out on the patio. Caprese salad fresh & delicious. I highly recommend if you are in the Red Bluff, CA area.

Jeremy Cowin We had to pivot at the last minute after the restaurant we originally planned on was closed, and we ended up at M & M Ranch. I’m glad we did — we were not disappointed. Our group started with the clam chowder, and it was excellent. Rich, creamy, and clearly made right. The salad bar was simple but fresh and well maintained. The real star, though, was the burgers. We ordered the Chief Burger and the Ringer Burger, and I immediately understood how this place was voted Best Burger in Tehama County. The combination of BBQ sauce, onion rings, cheese, and bacon was outstanding. Big, well-cooked burgers done right. I did see one review mention that the burgers were “expensive.” This isn’t McDonald’s. Were they a little pricey? Yes. Were they amazing? Absolutely. Worth every penny. If you want fast-food prices, go to a fast-food place. Service was excellent, and you can tell this is a well-run, family-owned restaurant. The place was very clean and clearly managed with care. The only small negative was that it was surprisingly dark outside — possibly a lighting issue — but don’t let that stop you. If you drive by without stopping, you’ll miss a real treat. We’ll definitely be back next year when we’re in town for the holidays.

Tiffany It was friendly service, very welcoming. We had beautiful scenery with a lot of airplanes to see today and not one of the pilots were rude about me capturing the photos or even walking back and forth to take them. Not to mention I had my puppy outside and after we were done eating we went outside to let her out and everyone was excited to see her and even gave her extra special attention just as they had done for us inside. so pet friendly as well

Don Hitchman I could give10 stars, I would! This is absolutely the cleanest restaurant that Ive ever been in! Everything including the kitchen and restrooms are spotless! Not to mention the quality of the food, which is outstanding! Its been a couple of months since I last went there, due to traveling, but the owners Carlos and Alba recognized me immediately. This really makes a difference to me, and no doubt to others. Theres a local resident who gets dressed up in his finest just to go there, but other restaurant in Red Bluff! Next time, Ill take some photos.
