corey mays KC did a great job as our server. Very welcoming, professional and informative. She took extra care of my friend with nut allergies to make sure there was no cross contamination and her and the host had great menu suggestions. I enjoyed my duck breast and my lamb appetizer as well as my Harvest Moon Mule. Very beautiful ambiance .

Chris S Went here for the first time! Atmosphere was nice and we made reservations so there was no wait. Waitress was nice but seemed to really want to get our order in which is normally a plus but we were with friends from out of the area so we wanted to catch up a little before we ordered so we felt a little rushed. My wife liked her meal a lot mine was a touch over cooked but not terrible. Overall we had a nice time.

Lauren Overly HIGHLY recommend!!! If it’s just for breakfast/lunch or to hold an event, you will not be disappointed. I recently had my sister’s bridal shower here in December and it was absolutely perfect. It’s the cutest space and already has tasteful decor/style that we didn’t need to add much to. The food and coffee is always AMAZING and the staff is so kind and quick to respond to everything. Couldn’t have imagined a better day!

Benito Ildefonso Love JP’s Food is one of the best cooks around. I absolutely love the mac and cheese, the cabbage, and the chicken tenders—honestly, everything is amazing. I have not had a single thing that I didn’t like. So many soul food restaurants don’t last, often due to gentrification, and that’s exactly why this place deserves our support. Let’s all show this place some love and continue to support our heritage and cultural food spots so we can keep places like this around for years to come.

April Zook I can’t understand why this place isn’t packed! The outdoor scene is lovely by the water, the food and service are great, ample parking, nice, indoor dining, and pub with plenty of room, good music, and drinks! I’d like to highlight their incredible soft pretzel that totally blew me away, because I don’t even like soft pretzels, and this thing was amazing, made fresh in-house. Next highlight is their pizza, just wow. The prices are good too, why isn’t there a line to be seated?! Another hidden gem!

Builder H We were in the area as tourists. While walking around we saw this place and stopped in looking for a small lunch before getting back to traveling. Food, service and drinks were all fantastic. My wife and I shared a Cuban flat bread. We say it was the best Flatbread we have eaten at any restaurant. We will definitely stop there again if going through that area in the future.

Nuria el This place is more than just a hidden gem it’s a rooftop with an absolutely amazing view. The atmosphere is stunning, and the food left me speechless elegant, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The vibes are fancy yet cozy, and the pizza? Easily the best I’ve had in a long time. The only thing I didn’t love was the mocktail, but honestly, everything else was perfect. Highly recommend!

Ruth Maria Hidden Gem in Manheim Township – Old School Charm and Friendly Vibes Tucked away in the Old Hickory Village area of Lancaster’s Manheim Township, this spot might not catch your eye at first glance — but don’t let its modest, old-school appearance fool you. What it lacks in modern flair, it more than makes up for in character and warmth. The gym has a nostalgic, almost throwback feel to it — the kind of place that reminds you of a tight-knit community gathering spot from back in the day. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. While I was there, a young gentleman was in the middle of a training session near the river and even then, he and the team took the time to help me understand the menu and make me feel right at home. It’s rare to find places like this anymore — simple, genuine, and rooted in that sense of neighborhood familiarity. If you’re ever in the area and want to experience something a little different from the usual polished chain establishments, this hidden gem is worth the visit.

P Damian (Louis Cyphere) We have arrived for dinner on Wednesday evening. For a weekday evening, it was crowded. We actually had to wait for a table, but I wasnt long and was worth it. Food is good - and reasonably priced. Steaks are cooked to order. Plenty of appetizers to chose from, same with entrees. I believe anyone can find something to their liking - from steaks to chicken and burgers, and seafood options. Parking lot was almost full, but we were able to find a space. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Susan Guggenheim Everything was excellently prepared and served. The food is fantastic. This trip I had the pork ribs in sauce and chofan (chicken fried rice) and an amazing avocado salad! My friend had fried chicken and chofan. We also bought their shrimp and octopus cold salad. Delicious! The cleanest! The friendliest!
