Gwen Curtis I love this place. Probably one of my favorite restaurants on the Ave. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing setting a good tone for your night. The drinks are delicious as is the food. The portions are perfect and realistic with each bite just as good as the last. The staff is friendly and attentive, which always makes the dining experience better. Don’t sleep on this place.

RC Basher Best sports bar in West Reading ! Cold beer, great atmosphere, super friendly attentive owner, bartenders and wait staff ! The crazy part is the food is awesome ! Best Pizza outside of Phila hands down. Sour dough crust is out of this world. Great place to watch a game, TVs virtually in every visual sport regardless of where you’re sitting. Family friendly and also offers a more nightclub scene after 8:30 pm on weekends. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu and best nachos ever from a restaurant. You know when you get nachos and you ask “where’s the meat” lol, not with 3rd and spruce, there loaded !

Tim Hoover Pizza is great. Slices bigger than your face. Nice people too and a great location. I fully anticipate needing to buy new clothes once I get fatter because of this place. The dill pickle pizza is so good as is the buffalo chicken

A S The food here was amazing! 5 stars. We were passing through Reading and we love mofongo so decided to give this place a try. I got the shrimp ceviche, a pina colada and a ham and cheese mofongo. Everything was so delicious! The staff even brought over crayons and a paper for my toddler towards the end of the meal when she was starting to get restless. I appreciate that they anticipated our needs. Would definitely go back! The location was super pretty and fun too.

7.The Barley Mow

Address: 719 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611

Jahanvi Gupta I recently visited Barley Mow again and was blown away by the quality of their dishes. The Avocado Toast was a standout dish, with a stunning presentation and a perfect balance of flavors. The acidity of the pickled onions balanced out the sweetness of the mushrooms, and the pesto oil added a light and fresh component to the dish. The eggs were deliciously creamy and fluffy, and the Cheddar Scram Sammie sandwich was a 9/10. This sandwich combines their signature fluffy eggs with gooey melted cheddar cheese to create an elevated egg salad sandwich. Overall, I would give Barley Mow a 10/10 for brunch and would definitely return every weekend if I could.

8.Nonno Albys Brick-oven Pizza

Address: 701 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611

(678) user ratings total:

Odallys Idrovo This place become one of my top favorite Italian restaurants. Their Bianca pizza is amazing as well as their Nonno Albys flavored wings. The only thing that could be better is the attention to service, I say this because nearly every time I dine in it could be just the two of us, walk in and wait looking around for an employee who doesnt just zoom past us without acknowledging us. Usually the waiting time is several minutes before finally being asked "how many?" Other than that, the atmosphere is nice and the food is really good.

The drinks were wonderful!! The food was so delicious!! I ordered the flounder and it was very flavorful but also very spicy, it had black pepper flakes on it which I didnt expect, and I dont do spicy so beware, but scraped them off. My husband had the short ribs and omg they were melt in your mouth delicious!! The atmosphere was super cozy! If we are ever back in Reading we def would visit again!

Amali Clarke-James I am simply blown away by this establishment!! The food was outstanding, the drinks- outstanding, the service and the owner- also outstanding. It was our first time dining here. I found this restaurant on happy cow. Were in town for work nearby and I always struggle to find good vegan options but this place was beyond delicious for both me and my meat eating husband. He had the wings and the scallops. He was full but kept eating because everything was so delicious. He loved the eggnog delight and the peanut butter cup martini (hes not a drinker and hates the taste of alcohol and was ready for more!!) I had the vanilla and the salted caramel moonshines and both completely blew my mind! The vegan options were plentiful and all sounded amazing. I cant wait to try the peanut butter spaghetti. Tonight I hit the vegan chicken parm and I love love loved it. They had various gluten free options as well. We were too stuffed for dessert but the options sounded wonderful too and included a vegan lemon sorbet! The waitress was attentive and made great recommendations and the owner was so sweet and personable!I will definitely be coming back many many times!

Les Franks Delicious, lots of flavor we are vegetarian and we tried the kibbeh kass for the first time, will be getting it again. They have all your Mideastern specialties, I recommend this restayrant highly, unless you are afraid of garlic lol. I have to say its NOT the same overdose of garlic that the old owner used to do. We also got the Osmalieh, didnt get a picture until we already dug in, yummy
