Jimmy Daresta Came in town for work and a friend recommended this place. He was spot on. The place has good character, the best selection of beer, excellent blue cheese bacon burger and the best staff. Melissa was a great bartender and gave excellent recommendations on food and beer. Also great conversation. Highly recommend stopping by the Ale House when in town!

Douglas Groomes Found this restaurant on a Business trip. Super casual establishment with great outdoor seating and bar with 3 screens of sports. Bartender was spot on!! Had their steak sandwich and all I can say is..... I had to have another one! Definitely a must!!!

Yi Lin Absolutely worth the trip! Service is outstanding, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food—simply incredible. The pork chop was juicy and full of flavor, and the corn over mashed potatoes melted in my mouth. The blackened salmon was grilled to perfection—moist and seasoned just right. The steak salad hit every note: perfectly cooked meat, fresh greens, and a spot-on dressing. Even my son couldn’t get enough of the grilled cheese and fries. And the best part? The prices are more than reasonable. I’d happily drive two hours just to eat here again. Highly recommend!

Heather Neiderhiser First time for us. We live about 4 hours away and this brewery did not disappoint. Our service, food and atmosphere was great! Oh and the alcohol Cinder is so good and refreshing. We got a pulled pork sandwich, a burger (2 burgers) stromboli and different drinks. Everything was amazing. If youre in the area for Trapshooting like us or any reason definitely stop in!! Parking is free and right next to the restaurant. Its worth the drive!! Our waitress was the best! Oh and I always appreciate a clean bathroom. Thank you for a great experience. We will come back next year !

Ashleigh N You need to try this pizza, it never disappoints. I love that they do american cheese instead of mozzarella. Since they also have a bar, you can order pizza late at night and they are still open.

Shannon Anderson Best pizza Ive had in a long time. Cheese steak was fabulous. Not to keen on there rolls but still delicious. The young lady that took my phone order was rude as hell. This is the 2nd time Ive had to deal with her .other then that great job lunas. Thank you

Spelling Chmap I feel dumb for sleeping on this place for so long. Whenever I wanted cuts of hot cheese Id always go to James or 2nd Floor (now gone). Ill be honest, I knew of Mr Pizza but I never took the opportunity to fine where they were located. Now Im a convert, I pick up some cuts everytime Im in Shamokin. The pizza is always top notch and its always a short wait (usually 15 min). I also like that you can order any quantity of cuts as opposed to fixed pizza sizes. Mr Pizza is hands down my favorite spot for pizza in the Shamokin area.
