meg G You can’t go wrong with the secret garden, indoor, or front porch seating. Atmosphere is great in each spot. Our servers are always fantastic, and our server this time, Emily, even made me a perfect espresso tonic which I requested but wasn’t on the menu. Too kind! Food is always amazing. Can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. Love the local art as well!

Rachel The vibe was very relaxed, great for lunch with a friend or yourself. I got the shawarma club, it was fantastic, the pickles and tomato perfectly balanced the savory chicken, and the fries were absolutely perfectly cooked. The portion size was very nice, I had fries leftover to take home and Im not a light eater. Really glad I checked this place out!

Mark Madden This Greek restaurant is an absolute gem in San Marcos! The food is fresh, flavorful, and delicious, with plenty of options that make you feel good about what you’re eating. Kristen Meitzen Enjoyed my birthday celebration here with my husband and teen daughters. It was delicious! Started with salads and milk bread... scrumptious! The compound butter served with the milk bread was perfect! So much so I took the rest home and used it in our dinner the next night. Entrées were Wellington, 2 Filet and Shrimp... it was mouth watering! We topped it off with the warm brownie and ice cream. Every ounce was polished off and not one item (save for the butter) was taken home. Thats a first! There was some sticker shock at the end but it really was a fabulous time! We will be returning for a date night in the next few months.

Han Bunch I think this will be the new place I frequent. I ordered the chicken katsu ramen and was surprised by how delicious it was. The broth was flavorful, the chicken and toppings were generous. The hibiscus bubble tea was so refreshing & amazing. Service was warm and welcoming. Ambiance is nice & clean. Will definitely come back to try more things.

Landon Wood They need to fire the guy who’s been working the outside bar the last few weekends. Me being 21 with a wristband I buy 2 shots for myself and I asked for a chaser and the bartender inside(I go inside for anything other than beer because the bartender outside will also dilute the hell out of your drink) give me two more shot glasses filled with sprite which is fine by me but when I go back outside to my table and shoot my two shots then one “shot” of sprite and I give the other to my friend since he’s only able to have water (he’s 20) the bartender outside decides to stop serving the customer and escort my whole friend group out even after I try explaining the situation to him then I get let back in without the friend and I order a beer that’s been 5.33 all night when I use my card but when I give him 7 dollars in cash he says this isn’t enough and a beer is 8 bucks so either he doesn’t know what the prices are, is pocketing that extra money as a “tip” but then still expects more, or he was just being a dick because he kicked us out

Erick R We had to stop for a very late dinner after my son’s soccer game, so there weren’t that many options. My wife wasn’t too thrilled to go but we had very limited choices. Glad we went as the service was great, and the food hit the spot. It was very late so not many people, and we had prompt service and the food was delicious. Would come back!

Ray Flores Wow! Dropped in this place on a spur of the moment and glad we did. They have amazing fish and chips, and I must mention, phenomenal drinks (full bar and a large selection of craft beers). They also have two pool tables, an old school arcade and a shuffleboard table. Just so you know, you order at the bar, they give you a number. and you pick whatever table you want. The waitress/waiter brings your food when ready. If you are looking to hang out for few hours with your family and/or friends, check this place out. You wont be disappointed!

Awais Sheikh Urban Bird Hot Chicken in San Marcos is an absolute MUST. We got the Big Bird Platter with Nashville Hot and BBQ-flavored chicken tenders, and everything was seriously on point, period. The tenders were flavorful, juicy, and had that perfect hot-chicken kick without being all heat and no taste. We also tried the Sweet Potato Fries, the Crinkle Fries, and the Elote side, and let me tell you—those sides did not feel like an afterthought at all. And the service? Incredible. Our server was awesome and went out of his way to explain what Elote was, and he even gave us a free sampler to try. On top of that, he didn’t charge us for the drinks, which was genuinely so kind and made the whole experience feel extra welcoming. Highly recommend Urban Bird Hot Chicken if you’re in the area—especially if you’re shopping at the San Marcos Premium Outlets and you’re looking for Halal food that actually tastes amazing.

Jason F Based on a recommendation, I tried Valentinos last night for the 1st time and loved it. The pizza was just the way I like it. Thin, crispy crust just like a great NY style pizza. The bartender, Mikayla was super friendly and pleasant to chat with as well. Theyre definitely going to get my business from here on out. Well done!

Native consumer Delicious food served by kind people. I eat here weekly and will not slow down anytime soon. These folks have seen me at my best and worst but I always leave in good spirits. My favourite dish is the NY strip with crispy brussels sprouts. The portions are pretty generous at a very reasonable price. 10/10 I recommend to anyone visiting San Marcos or looking for quick and delicious meal.
