Jonathan Hahn Ashley D was my waitress and she was amazing! I was the only one sitting outside on a beautiful day but it was no problem to get great service. Food was good, and relaxing area outside!

Rhonda Hurtado Warmly greeted upon entering. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Ocean views. Great staff recommendations - was even told soup or salad should be skipped to safe room for dessert. Lovely delicious tiramisu and creamy spumoni. Will definitely return for other meals.

Dan Daniels Service is my top priority when dining out, and Rachel was absolutely phenomenal. My husband and I had an incredible experience thanks to her attentiveness and warmth. She anticipated our needs before we even voiced them. At times, it truly felt like she could read our minds! Despite being a fine dining experience, the evening never felt pretentious or overly formal. We felt like the experience was just filled with genuine hospitality paired with impeccable service and delicious food. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. Teagan welcomed us with a friendly smile and escorted us to our window-side table, which offered a stunning ocean view. Each table having its own “private” window made the atmosphere even more special. Throughout the evening, Rachel, Hannah, and Jesus guided us through each course, describing every dish in thoughtful detail and inviting questions. Rachel went above and beyond by asking for our feedback at the end and even shared some wonderful local recommendations since we’re visiting the area. The food itself was exceptional. Every course was beautifully curated, with playful contrasts in texture and flavor. The pacing between courses was perfect. We had enough time to savor each dish, enjoy our conversation, and never feel rushed. Best of all, we left feeling not just satisfied, but also FULL. We can’t recommend Coastal Kitchen enough.

Scott Seeley Not so hidden, but tucked away sports bar, brew pub and family eatery. I guess its part of the Portola Hotel. From the lobby, out the large doors to the north then left right away. Cant miss it if youve gotten this far. Newly remodeled, so less charm, but makes up for it with shiny cleanliness and sparkle which is getting harder to find. Walls of TVs and there was live music when we were there. The space probably wasnt designed for live music, but I know its a draw for others. Front, wait and bar staff were friendly and did an excellent job serving our table. Attentive without hovering. Basic sports bar menu done with a few extras and done better than most similar eateries. We were all satisfied with burgers, sandwiches, pizza and a couple salads which we shared. The crispy n fried items werent too heavy and the food itself was quality cuts and selections. Were not drinkers but the others in the restaurant seemed pleased. Im sure the other reviews will chime in. Well be back. If youre in the area for a few days Id put it on your list when everyone in your group wants something different from each other.

Chelsey Anderson My husband and I stayed at the Marriot for 3 nights. We ate the buffet breakfast 2 days and regular menu breakfast the 3rd day. Everything was delicious. The buffet had a large variety to choose from. We also had multiple cocktails throughout our stay and appetizers. Everything was great! Service was great too!

JAY MAC I had an absolutely perfect dining experience here! While the current 4.3 rating is good, this place is easily a 5-star gem that far exceeded all my expectations. The food was incredible—every single dish was flawless, but the grilled meat was truly the star of the show. It was cooked to perfection, incredibly flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. What really set this night apart was the service. It honestly felt like the staff could read my mind; every detail was attended to before I even had to ask. Everyone was 100% friendly and made me feel so welcome. A huge, special thank you to Stephanie! You were absolutely perfect and made my night truly special. Your attention to detail and kindness are unmatched. Thank you for providing such a perfect evening. I will definitely be back!

helix is gaming Super good wings, burgers and sandwiches! The service was awesome, super quick and really attentive. The vibe of the place was relaxed and the decorations/history was interesting. Slightly pricey for a burger but it was super good and i’d get it again. I’d recommend the blackened chicken sandwich the most!

Ciara Bella Went here on a sibling/ mom trip and had a great time. The drinks were dope, the food was tasty and plentiful. Loved the roasted mackeral and the scallops were perfect and plump. Great service from my waiter and a great view.

Jeffrey Martin Excellent food! The seafood sampler appetizer was our favorite, but the crab cake was also very good with plenty of crab, not overdone with stuffing. The pasta was good, but a little under seasoned. We ate at 5:30pm. No wait and service was excellent because not many diners were out early on a weeknight. The view of the pier was nice. Overall, 5 out of 5.

ami dhaliwal Soooo good!! We stumbled across this while walking the pier and it was the best decision! We got a table next the water and luckily dropped in while they had a 25% of bottles of wine happy hour. For starters, ordered the “Monterey-style” clam chowder and calamari. It was the best chowder we’ve had and the calamari was extremely fresh. We could tell the squid was cut in house. We ordered two pastas that were phenomenal with the crab ravioli being our favorite. They surprised us with a free dessert!! Everything is reasonably priced. We highly recommend this place

Olivia Visited on a Friday night. It wasnt too busy when we arrived, but as the night went on, it was packed! We were kindly welcomed by the hostess and while she worked on getting us a table inside, two guys, a waiter and another staff member, asked if wed been helped and also pitched in to set the table and lead the way. Within minutes of arriving, the staff made sure we were taken care of and for that we are so thankful and impressed! The waiter was also friendly, informative and quick. We ordered the lobster pasta special with catch of the day cod and the cod fish and chips. Lobster dish was rich and decadent. Fish and chips were thick breaded, crispy, and the tarter sauce was the best Ive ever had. Our waiter was also attentive with providing water extra sauces and simply checking in. Would highly recommend this quaint and charming location for any special or spontaneous occasion.

Adelene Goh We enjoyed a comforting spread at Bubba Gump — crispy fish and chips, creamy clam chowder, flavourful pasta, and a generous seafood platter perfect for sharing. Everything came out hot, tasty, and satisfying, with friendly service and a fun, lively atmosphere. A great stop for casual seafood.
